Kodak Z1015 IS takes sharp, clear photos
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The kodak Z1015 IS is a very nice camera with many features not found on your basic point and shoot but it's very easy to use. It takes beautiful clear photos without a lot of hassle. It especially takes great outdoor shots. It does have many features for more advanced photographers who like to be creative and use their own settings. The Z1015 IS also takes great videos with High Definition and nice clear sound.
Excerpt: This camera was given to me as a Christmas present to replace an older version of a Kodak digital camera--don't remember the version--so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is. I use it to take pictures of my children in their activities and they are great. The action mode is ok. Indoor pictures are fine.
Excerpt: My wife and I purchased this camera several months ago. We previously owned another Kodak easy share camera with 6 megapixels that came with its own printing dock. We are big photo buffs. Of course with our children how can we resist. So we went for an upgrade on our camera. So we decided to stick with Kodak. I myself have always trusted this brand. We picked up this Kodak Easy Share Z1015 IS Digital camera from Wal Mart.
This Easyshare Z1015 IS is a great camera for the price

Excerpt: With the Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS the price was great. It was purchased at Walmart. The set up was very simple. It Camera itself is not a bad size, not tiny, but somewhat small. It has all the functions that one needs for your basic picture taking. I am not an expert, but I am extremely happy with the pictures that I have taken and had printed. There are a few buttons on the camera that I am not sure of.
Excerpt: I purchased the Kodak Z1015 camera on-line at the Kodak store, the camera is OK. It was really slow between pictures, very hard for action shots. I down loaded the firmware and it made it a bit faster but still not up to what I feel is adequate. The software with it sucks, hard to set to download in another place filled up my hard-drive very fast.
The Kodak Easy Share Z1015 takes the best pictures !!

Excerpt: I bought this camera to take pictures that I would show me every detail of something so I could get good references for paintings that I wanted to do. This camera shows every detail of a flower and gets up as close as you could possibly want. It also takes wonderful pictures of my finished paintings so that I can make my own prints for sale. I love this camera and wouldn't trade it in for anything!
So far so good, great clear pics and even at 10x zoom.!!!

Summary: I had to edit review after trying out camera for a while. It takes great pics but as a lot of people complain it is a slow processor and although I only had a 4 gb not an 8 gb, It really wasnt the processing but the size and weight of camera were really not worth it when I could carry around my z915, minus an optical viewfinder, and come out with much better pics at the full optical zoom even though the z915 is a 10x and the z1015is is a 15x optical.
Summary: I'm still not sure whats going wrong. It's used so I can't be certain it's the cameras fault but something tells me it is. This camera shoots poor quality photos most of the time no matter what settings I use. At its best the photos are average to slightly above average but most of the time they are average to slightly below average. The camera appears to be in mint condition and all functions seem fine.
Summary: I take a huge amount of photos. Lots of family shots that get framed and put into photo books etc. This camera was as good as expected. I really have enjoyed several versions of the easy share family and was impressed with the useability and the digital zoom capability for the reasonable cost.
