  • Conclusion: Kodak EasyShare V705 Test conclusion Having a second lens is still an attractive concept. No one else is making such extreme wide-angle in the compact camera segment, so the Kodak EasyShare V705 camera is bound to be popular with landscape photographers.

  • Conclusion: The V705 looks peculiar, only takes average photos and, as easy to use as the dual lenses are, they still risk sending novice users cross-eyed. • Summary: The V705 makes a stand for innovation, style and sheer egg-head lunacy. You might not care for the Kodak's austere design, dual-lensed awkwardness or average image quality, but any camera that pushes boundaries while raising a smile deserves to find an audience.

Kodak Easyshare V705

Cameras
15 February 2007
  • Conclusion: Once again I think Kodak are trying to break new ground with the Easyshare V705. It may not be the very best when it comes to picture quality, but when you take into account the fast shutter response, ease of use and a wide angle lens I think it is well worth considering.
  • Pros: Wide angle lens, Low shutter lag times, Ease of use
  • Cons: Focusing dips towards the edge of shots, Lens distortion creeps in with wide angle lens
