Good outdoors and for panoramas

Allis, Amazon
4 July 2011
  • Summary: This is a nice little camera. It takes good pictures outdoors and has a nice backlight setting. Unfortunately, it does not take good pictures indoors. They always come out too dark when I try to use the flash. Color saturation indoors is not good. The best feature about this camera is the movies.

50/50

Kellie D. Beauregard, Amazon
28 December 2008
  • Summary: Most of the time this camera takes wonderful pictures...sometimes they are really blurry...I don't see a difference having a dual lens vs a standard...I love the simplicity of the camera because all I know is "point and shoot" (which might be the reason for some of the blurry problems) my daughter...

descent camera; difficult to share photos

frag2045, Amazon

  • Summary: the camera is nice, and provides good quality photos compared to its compact size. however, i am disappointed to be forced to use the kodak easyshare everytime i load pics to my laptop... it does not even have a usb port to directly connect the camera to the pc.

Poor Quality

Andrea K., Newegg
25 March 2006
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: I didn't actually buy this camera I was just browsing. When I fully zoomed out and tried to take a picture far away the quality was horrible. It was cloudy, fuzzy, and you practically couldn't tell what was in the picture.

Stylishly black, reliable and easy to use

  • Excerpt: I've been the proud owner of the Kodak Dual Lens for over two years now. It has proved a most reliable and compact little camera, which I've generally found easy to use and follow.
  • Pros: Reliable, and has survived several forced landings on pavements
  • Cons: Zoom could be faster .   Would have preferred more visible colour scheme .

Best camera I've ever owned!

  • Excerpt: This is a fantastic camera for stills or video with sound. The clarity of the pictures, even when enlarged, is amazing. I was astounded when I zoomed in on a picture and could actually see all the detail on a picture hanging on the wall in the background.
  • Pros: Light, compact, easy to use, easy to carry, elegant design
  • Cons: Ooh, don't download the Kodak software !

  • Excerpt: I bought the Kodak V570 Dual Lens because I wanted a smaller size camera I could take with me at concerts or some other places where it is difficult to use my bigger digital SLR (Nikon D50) and so far I haven't been disappointed.
  • Pros: size, presets, big back screen
  • Cons: Price

Awesome Camera

  • Excerpt: This is an awesome camera, if you want to be able to carry it around in your pocket. The display is decent, the zoom is good considering the size. The dual lenses are great for taking group pictures and single pictures, the panoramic function is pretty good, if you can line the 3 pictures up.
  • Pros: Dual Lenses, Size
  • Cons: Can't use AA batteries, battery life not the best
