Summary: Crap! picture quality is very low. Its suppose to be 12mp. wrong! really leave this camera alone. totally disapointment all away around. Video is 1980 vhs quality at best. Cannon or nikon is a way better choice. kODAK IS GREAT FOR FILM, HEY wait, its 2013! no one uses film anymore! Just like this camera, kodak is dead.
Summary: Bought this camers cause "Kodak" said its the "cats meow" had it long enough to let the so called warranty run out. 1st problem was wouldent hold a charge, sent it in and paid big $$ for the repair, (coulda bought a new camera for the cost) had it for 3 weeks and then the thing started doing the same thing, barely turning on or off so the lens moves alil.Well long story short..
Summary: I've had this camera since may of last year(2008)and have had nothing but problems with it. Takes really blurry pics in auto mode and I have to manualy set it to take a clear pic. Then the lense stopped retracting when I would turn it off and now it will not even charge or turn on at all. Even before it refused to charge it would just shut off and not work even when fully charged. To top it off you have to pay to get it shipped in to be repaired.
Summary: I did alot of research before finally choosing this camera. The price seemed right, it had extremely high megapixels, and was compact in size. It seemed perfect. Upon reiceiving it, I was immediately wary. It was sluggish. I found that after taking a picture, when I pushed to review it, sometimes it would take 20 -30 seconds to load. Then it would freeze. The pictures were often grainy or blurry.
Summary: This camera does not come with a charger! I find that absolutely unbelievable! How can you sell a camera that runs with a rechargeable battery and you find out once you receive the camera that you have to buy it seperately? I am absolutely amazed ... so beware! It doesn't even say on the packet ... I had to look at the instruction manual and it states, sold seperately. Hasn't anyone else had this problem?
Summary: The first "camera" was not even in the box, so a replacement was shipped. When we received the replacement it had been shipped from Amazon Returns Center, so we also returned the actual camera and the empty box in separate shipments with separate UPS tracking numbers. We printed your return labels as you requested, but when it came time to issue us a refund for the camera that we shipped back to, you are not willing to issue us a refund for something that we returned...
Summary: I have bought a new Kodak camera every year for over 13 years now. I have always loved Kodak's picture quality and they get better and better every year. In February we were a couple of weeks from our March Disney trip with the kids and I had to have the newest camera. We did our research and with the HD of this camera and 12 MP this was a must have! Much to my surprise when we returned from Disney with 500 pictures on our camera, only 40 of them were good.
Summary: I had the Kodak DX7630, it took excellent pictures. I dropped it and broke the case so decided to go with Kodak again. This time buying the V1233. Indoor pictures were awful, blurry and grainy. Outdoor shots were fine. Returned the camera and bought a Canon.
