Excerpt: On a consumer level, this camera is definitely the way to go. This camera utilizes its touch screen and gives the camera a very modern feeling. The camera itself is nice and fairly thin, thin enough to fit snugly in a pocket. The options available for taking pictures are very nicely done, and some are even surprising, such as the computer's ability to make panoramas. Video quality is fairly good and it can record in hd format. Audio is less than spectacular.
Excerpt: We got the Kodak EasyShare v-1073 mostly for the video .We have a couple good camera's already. The kodak EasyShare v-1073 has a bigger LCD screen than I thought it would have which was a nice little suprise. My daughter like's the touch screen although as with any touch screen it is near impossible to see outdoors in the sunlight.I like the sleek button's on this camera they dont protrude out.
I'd rather use this over my Nikon D4. Yeah. It's that awesome.

Summary: Let's put it this way: This is the third Easyshare V1073 that I've bought and if this one were to break or get stolen, I'd look for a fourth. I have no clue how it's only 10 megapixels since the pictures it takes are crystal clear. The zoom is could be a bit better but like any point-and-shoot, it's capabilities are reasonably limited. If you have the opportunity to buy this camera, seize it and prepare to witness the greatness that is the V1073.
Summary: I like the v1073 more each time I use it. The touch screen is easy to use and the easy share camera is easy to figure out without looking at the manual. The better lenses is a real plus and the pic are amazing. The thing I don't like is the LCD screen is useless in the daylight outside. I bought refurbished and other than the screen the camera is great. It has been a problem with the screen so it is not just this camera.
Summary: I really like the touch screen, the camera could be a bit faster when taking action shots as you have to anticipate quite a bit to catch the exact point of the picture you want. It is small and easy to handle. I wish the digital zoom was larger, but it will work for what I need.
Summary: Good price for the pixel. Very decent optical lens giving nice pictures. Great screen even if it becomes necessarily covered by fingerprints since it is touch sensitive. An independent battery charger would be much better than the delicate connector on the camera used to recharge the battery. When (if) this little connector is damaged, it will be impossible to charge the battery and the camera will go useless.
Summary: Lets keep it simple: What do i like about this camera: 1.The giant touchscreen (compared to my last M783 Kodak) 2.The great resolution 3.The price (excellent cost-benefit) 4.Very easy to use 5.The "smart" way of taking pictures 6.The gun metal look What i dont like: 1.Not enough zoom for this kind of resolution 2.The sound of the lens moving with the zoom when seeing videos 3.The bottom lit (too delicate) 4.Cant know how much is left for the battery to be fully used...
"Great camera with high tech features for a good price"
1 March 2009
Pros: I'll keep it simple here. This is a great camera. It takes stunning photos. Records HD 720p. It's 10MP.The touchscreen is cool. It's Smart Capture mode is great. It has many useful ISO levels. Panoramic shots are amazing. It's a cool looking camera.
Cons: A bit tricky to learn the touchscreen. Battery seems a bit short on life. Replaying the HD video on your PC may not look right if your computer doesn't display HD.The colors will be off. Such as reds will be blue for some reason and vice versa
