Summary: This is a great little camera. I have other cameras with fixed focus and this is the first digital I have with auto focus. I wanted something that would take clear pics close up and this one does a good job. Video quality is also very good. I have posted a few videos to youtube and turned out nice quality. The rechargeable battery saves lots of money. Biggest flaw I've seen is that you can't see the screen in bright sunlight.
Excerpt: I have always been a big fan of Kodak's cameras. This camera is by far my favorite! I love the touch screen, and it was a great value for my needs as a parent of two young boys. Its nice and compact so I can put it in my pocket if I don't want to carry a purse.I also love that it does not take 3aa batteries, it comes with a rechargeable. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Excerpt: On a consumer level, this camera is definitely the way to go. This camera utilizes its touch screen and gives the camera a very modern feeling. The camera itself is nice and fairly thin, thin enough to fit snugly in a pocket. The options available for taking pictures are very nicely done, and some are even surprising, such as the computer's ability to make panoramas. Video quality is fairly good and it can record in hd format. Audio is less than spectacular.
Excerpt: We got the Kodak EasyShare v-1073 mostly for the video .We have a couple good camera's already. The kodak EasyShare v-1073 has a bigger LCD screen than I thought it would have which was a nice little suprise. My daughter like's the touch screen although as with any touch screen it is near impossible to see outdoors in the sunlight.I like the sleek button's on this camera they dont protrude out.
Excerpt: This camera comes in second place after my canon Rebel xt. I use it when I don't want to carry the big SLR with me and it delivers. The red eye reduction could be better. And the screen is not too bright in direct sun light. The touch screen is just amazing though. It allows you to change setting by the touch of a finger and it has a lot of settings to choose from.
Excerpt: I love that this camera has made it so easy to get pictures to turn out like i am a pro. I take more pictures now than i ever did before because it is simple and the pictures are beautiful. I now have more memories can use for scrapbooking and overall i have more to show off to my family and friends. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants simple quality.
I'd rather use this over my Nikon D4. Yeah. It's that awesome.

Summary: Let's put it this way: This is the third Easyshare V1073 that I've bought and if this one were to break or get stolen, I'd look for a fourth. I have no clue how it's only 10 megapixels since the pictures it takes are crystal clear. The zoom is could be a bit better but like any point-and-shoot, it's capabilities are reasonably limited. If you have the opportunity to buy this camera, seize it and prepare to witness the greatness that is the V1073.
Good, solid camera for photos but the ZOOM button is a major weak point

Summary: I came by this camera by accident, I've been a Canon fan for over 30 years. But I was impressed with the Kodak, especially with the touch-screen. I won't contest it's capabilities for great photos, my issue is with the ZOOM feature, in my camera it wasn't working, I found the button was broken. So I went on E-Bay and bought an "as is" (the v1273 is almost identical except for the additional pixels) as it turned out that button was broken as well in the same way.
Summary: Let me first say I have been on the Canon bandwagon for about 4 years now. I headed off to ebay to find a replacement Canon and I had hopes of upgrading by finding a Canon with more than 8MP and I wanted image stabilization. Upon reading reviews of the current digital cameras I found that the 14MP cameras have not been fine tuned enough at the consumer level and therefore can be quite fuzzy or noisy. I kept my search to cameras that were 12MP or lower.
