Don't waste your time or money
23 April 2013
Summary: I got one of these for my vacation, As a result I have no photographs at all. I followed the instruction on making sure that battery enclosure was closed correctly and off I went into the water. One click later the LCD displayed lines and the trigger would not fire. The lens just fogged up and by the time I got the dry land the batteries were soaked.
Summary: We used the camera for snorkeling while in the Caribbean. It's advertised as good to 10 feet; we never went below 5 feet. The battery compartment filled with water after only 6 photos. The camera now doesn't work at all. There are better underwater digitals on the market. We definitely don't recommend this one. Very disappointing to miss so many great photo opportunities.
Summary: This camera lasted less than 30 seconds in the water. PLEASE do not waste money on this camera. A zip lock baggie would have been more waterproof. My son saved allowance money to purchase this as a gift for his sister, and he was disappointed that it was such a failure. The pictures she took on dry land, were corrupted the moment she entered the tidepool with the camera. Shame!
Summary: Ended up returning this camera. Be aware that when using it in salt water, once that water dries up it leaves an awful film all over the lens of the camera, thus making any subsequent photos blurry and grainy. I don't know how they could remedy this, but I didn't really think about that when I was using it and a lot of photos turned out awful because of this (photos taken on the beach, NOT while underwater where the salt would have been washed off).
Summary: Purchased the camera July last year to take on my trip to Cancun. First day on the beach we went to take some photos out on the water, the camera was exposed to minimal water and ceased to function after 15 minutes. After we returned from the beach the inner lens began to fog up. Let the camera sit over night with battery door open and it still did not turn on. Had planned to take many pictures during our various water activities but was a total loss.
Summary: First day of our vacation, we got it wet and it hasn't worked since. There water all in the screen. I ended up buying disposable cameras for our vacation. I don't recemend this camera to anyone. I returned it for money back.
Summary: We bought this camera for our trip to Aruba. We took 3 underwater pictures and then the camera broke... it kept scrolling through the pictures and would not take any more. Wish there was a "0" star rating. If you're going on vacation and want to take pictures underwater, either go high end or buy the cheap disposables they have at the hotel / convenience store.
