Kodak EasyShare Sport C123
4 September 2011
Conclusion: The very inexpensive Kodak EasyShare Sport waterproof point-and-shoot digital camera is priced like a toy, and it operates like one. It's a fun, kid-, and beach-friendly camera, but lacks some elemental features that limit its usefulness.
Pros: Cheap. Simple to operate. Dust-, sand-, and water-proof. Plenty of sharing options. Autofocus can be used during video recording.
Cons: Fixed focus and a lack of image stabilization mean blurry photos unless you have a tripod or an optimal lighting condition. Only takes AA batteries. VGA-quality video recording.
Summary: Almost nothing about the EasyShare Sport C123 stands out, and it has a number of faults and substandard features that make it difficult to recommend. The small screen, the voracious appetite for batteries, the long delay after capturing an image, slow processing times... the list goes on.
