Kodak EasyShare Max Z990 Review
Digital Camera Review
7 July 2011
Summary: The Kodak EasyShare Max Z990 is a good ultrazoom that could have been a great ultrazoom. Its build quality is solid and its ergonomics are good (with a couple of minor exceptions). It has a wide array of features, including an ultra-quick continuous shooting mode. It includes a high quality lens and provides quick and accurate focusing. It offers very good image quality with especially nice looking colors and its low light image quality is impressive.
Pros: Good image quality, Good in low light, Fast continuous shooting, Excellent flash
Cons: Slow shot-to-shot time, Actual battery life shorter than claimed, Poorly implemented auto panorama mode
Summary: The Kodak Easyshare Max Z990 sells at a market operating price Rs. 17,000. This is a really good camera and does well in the build department. The camera also offers very good shots, and the zoom is really good. Kodak has really stepped up their game in a segment of super zooms, which is expanding. This is a camera that does offer value for money and it would make for a worthwhile purchase.
