Summary: I bought the first Kodak series digital cameras in the 1990's - when they were only 1 megapixel. (Have used Film SLRs previous to that- and owned a few digital cameras since)- just to preface this review with my experience level. Stay away from this camera.
Summary: I bought this camera in June 2008. I originally had to return it for a new one because the first one stopped turning on right away. I've had it for over a year now, and in the past couple of months it has gotten more and more problematic. First, it stopped opening all the way when I turned it on.
Summary: The average review for this camera should be NO stars!!! Not only did we have the same problem that everyone else has (it works for about a week, then the lens stops staying open), but there are MANY reviews here that say how bad this camera is, yet it show as "4 stars".
Summary: I bought this camera in late March 2008. I could get very good images with the camera most of the times, but the images were really bad when light conditions were not good (e.g., at a pub or in a church, museum etc.). But for most of the time it worked fine.
Summary: I bought this camera to replace a battery problem with double AA batteries on another camera. Battery is fine but as stated in other reviews, you can't see anything on the screen to take a picture with if you are outdoors. There is no viewfinder to aid you either although I always use the screen.
Summary: I can't recommend this digital camera. I purchased it in late 2008 and have used it a few times. I've been careful to keep the battery charged. It recently began to malfunction and cannot be repaired. The camera turns on for a second, but then immediately powers off again.
Summary: I have faced the very same problems listed in most reviews. The worst one is the blurry pictures indoor. There is no way to work around this no matter what you do with the light, distance, ISO settings, ....
Summary: I absolutely hate this camera. I have had this camera for 2 months now and all of the pictures have turned out grainy. Now, there is a purple haze on all of my pictures. Kodak did not help rectify the problem, so I am done using Kodak products.
Summary: I've bought a Kodak M883 it's a 8 mega pixels camera. the Picture I've taken all came our blur my Nokia camera Phone picture which is only 1.3 mega Pixels came out much better than Kodak M883.
