I bought the EasyShare M763 to be my second camera. I was looking for a simple to use point and shot camera with fair price while providing good quality photos. I found what I wanted. It is compact, with a very nice 2.7 LCD. I specially enjoy the 16:9 picture size options. It does have a not so short lag time between shots, but I do recomend this camera for its friendly use and quality photos. Read more

I actually purchased this camera about 4 years ago (for a lower price than listed). Since then, I've loved this camera. It's super easy to use and takes great quality shots. I recently made a trip to Monterey, CA and have postcard quality pics to remember it by. Even inside a dimly lit aquarium I managed to get beautiful shots. I appreciate the fact that it "rates" my shots via a small hand-like icon, based on clarity. Green for good, yellow for fair and red for poor.... Read more
i like the camera, very easy to use point and click, but you can not see the screen in full sunlight, so if you want to take alot of pictures outside good luck, i just pointed and clicked in the full sunlight and hoped for the best, i would still recommend for someone who takes a lot of indoor pictures, it would great inside lurray caverns in virginia. but for birdwatching which is what a i wanted it for. no.
