Summary: I am totally disappointed in this Kodak product, I've only had it about a month and the malfunction continue to mount. I take 200 or more photograph 3 to 4 days a week. Between unfocused picture or just blacked out pictures it has caused me to much aggravation. It also freezes up at startup or doesn't cycle off, with out battery being taken out .
Summary: The pictures have a halo in the upper right corner. Size of a nickle and shadowed. All I want is to exchange it for a new one & I cannot fine a form or anywhere to state that intent. I had started a return but had not thought I submitted & Fed Ex came for a pick up and & wasn't ready. I just want to exchange but I do not have the original packing. I'm upset with Amazon, being a Prime Member, that I have to waste my time with this.
Summary: this camera is terrible. It advertises that you can upload directly to Kodak photos which is perfect for kids BUT Kodak photos was sold in July of 2012 and they don't tell you that. Tried to retrun adn they not only refused but were VERY rude.
Summary: I have wanted a digital camera for a while. This Kodak M583 Digital is my final decision. Compact easy to use. I am not a techie type person so I have to mess with it some more, but so far it's been easy to use.
Summary: I bought this product because it had great reviews, was from a long established American icon, and had been described as something that would be just right for me. The first thing I learned out of the box was that the software is no longer available for download. So sorry, says Kodak, but they just don't own the software anymore. "Sorry for your inconvenience." I've never heard of a theft called merely an "inconvenience".
