Summary: I am totally disappointed in this Kodak product, I've only had it about a month and the malfunction continue to mount. I take 200 or more photograph 3 to 4 days a week. Between unfocused picture or just blacked out pictures it has caused me to much aggravation. It also freezes up at startup or doesn't cycle off, with out battery being taken out .
Summary: Great little stand alone camera for the price. One of the few you can charge with a USB cable as well as carry around a spare battery just in case. Display dims a little quickly but a light "focus" touch on the trigger brings it right back. Pretty easy to setup and use and not too many confusing "advanced" controls and settings not needed on a camera like this anyway. Picture stabilizer and auto flaqsh are ice features for getting good pictures.
Summary: I bought THREE of these cameras about 2 years ago because after the first one, I was so happy with it that I never wanted to be without it. So the other two are back-ups. After 2 years and hundreds if not thousands of photos and videos, I'm still on my first one! I wanted a small lightweight point and shoot camera. I love my photos, mostly taken on trips, but I didn't want a heavy complicated camera.
Summary: I'm not very experienced with digital cameras, but I've gotten a lot of good use from this. There are several things I wish were different about its menu, but I can't complain about its quality of photos & video.
Summary: this camera takes good photos, but it is not good for taking videos. it is a little blurry on wide angle, but when you try to zoom in during taking the video, and the more you zoom, the worse the video blurr is. if you zoom clear in while videoing, you can barely see the image when you plat it back.
