Excerpt: I purchased this camera because all the reviews said it had low shutter lag. I have two children who are quite active athletes and I wanted to be able to capture their soccer and basketball games. It's difficult to get a decent shot with my current Olympus. I wanted a camera that would take the picture the moment I pressed the button. This camera has been great for exactly that. It's compact enough that I can throw it in my purse and bring it to all the games. It's...
Excerpt: I got this as a present for my birthday back in October and so far it has been pretty good with a few exceptions. The Kodak easy share M580 digiatal camera I received was in a package kind of deal that came with the camera, the camera charger that goes in the wall, the cover for the camera and a four gigabyte memory card. I was very exited when I received it because it had everything I needed all in one place.
Excerpt: I had recieved this camera for a present from my husband, and was very excited about it. I loved that it was easy to upload to my computer, facebook, etc. I had wanted a Kodak camera too. It took really great pictures and I loved using it. However, about 2 monthes after I had received the camera, my husband dropped it, and it broke. There was no picture showing up on the screen and it would not take pictures anymore. I was disappointed because although he dropped...
Excerpt: I got this camera for Christmas, and it really isn't a bad choice. I like the zoom on it execpt for when you made videos with it, it kind of makes this strange noise, but I like the screen because it's fairly big. It functions pretty good though taking pictures and all. It really is a pretty okay camera. It doesn't really cost a lot of money, so if wondering if you should buy it, then you should. Kodak Easyshare M580 Digital Camera offers value for money
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The Kodak Easyshare M580 Digital Camera offers value for money, has very good picture quality, is cheap, compact and I really like the clear picture quality, the awsome buttons and features and its big LCD screen. ok, so it's not touch screen but at this price it wouldn't be. They have good color choices (I got a purple-ish color) for both men and women and a good optical and digital zoom.
Pros: Good picture image. Outdoor pictures in all lights are great. Video works well and is easy to use. The volume levels out, and the High def is a nice feature. Gives you a choice of which memory card type that you want to use. The fireworks option allows
Cons: The shutter sticks open while trying to take multiple pictures. Has nothing to do with the firmware update that fixes the problem which sticking while changing modes. Took me 3 weeks to get my camera back. Make sure you keep your receipt, and follow up to
Summary: the camera is great i have no complaints with it. the only complaint i had is the 4GB memory card. I tried to upload the photos i took via the cable that came with the camera. witch didn't work all it wanted to do was freeze my PC so i spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support to find out the camera was perfectly fine, but was giving another number to call about the card...
Summary: Picked up this camera from the store few days ago and first it took good pictures and Video and some of the pictures were as sharp as my expensive Sony camera. Yes, the bottons are small and flush with the rest of the camera and you have to search for them or actualy look to see if your fingure is on the correct button or not, but I thought the overall quality to value ratio is good.
Summary: No view finder on this camera, so when taking pictures outdoors hope for a dark cloudy day, because even when you use the brightest LED setting, it causes you not to be able to compose a picture properly because your subject is hard to see in the LED screen. Had I known of this handicap, I would not have bought this camera.
