  • Excerpt: Bought the camera and made spectacular pictures, that is until 2 months later when the lens would not open and would just make a buzzing sound!!! Not very pleased!! Too many cameras out there to have to deal with this!!

I'm returning this!

  • Excerpt: I guess I should have listened to the advice of the salesman at Best Buy who told me that basically the most returns of cameras are Kodaks, but of course I didn't listen. I bought a Kodak EasyShare and had taken a lot of family photos- super easy and fun to use. I just wanted a little more updated model and big screen to view the pictures- I loved this at first. I took it along for our family reunion and thought I took some great pictures.

used the camera once and it blew up!

Cindy, Amazon
6 January 2012
  • Summary: I bought this to take on a vacation, I wanted a smaller camera than what I had, and after owning 3 other Kodak cameras I choose this. The size was great and the first set of photos were great too, but the first night of our vacation I plugged this into the electric outlet to charge and it basically blew up, big spark! No more camera! I was lucky that other people on my vacation could download there photos onto my laptop.

Horrible Photos; Horrible Service

lookingelsewhere, Amazon
18 November 2011
  • Summary: I bought this camera from a reliable source, I thought, but not Amazon.com, and was expecting great things. It looks beautiful (very cute, fact) and feels sturdy. But the photos were beyond awful -- I have never, in my life, seen such bad, fuzzy photos. Completely unusable. I immediately took the camera back to the store and was told they had "no way" of recouping money from Kodak for a faulty product so they could not take the camera back.

Worst camera ever

Kyle Aspe, Amazon
14 June 2011
  • Summary: This is the worst camera I have ever owned, the first one I bought had to be sent back to the seller because it was immediately defective, making buzzing and clicking noises whenever it zoomed in and out. The second camera is only a few months old, hardly used, and the battery life is poor, the camera refuses to stay on, even when fully charged, I feel like the power button never works and is unpredictable when it will actually 'listen' and turn off or on, sometimes when...

What Has Happened to Kodak???

Karl Burrows, Amazon
29 August 2010
  • Summary: We have owned many Kodak digital cameras over the past 7 or 8 years and have generally been pleased with the overall functionality and features of all the cameras. All produced great looking images when you had the right lighting with vivid colors and good detail. I have moved on to a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 (absolutely love it!!), but my wife still liked her Kodak.

Kodak disappoints

Walmart
14 June 2010
  • Summary: I have bot and used Kodak products for many years. This product was DOA. Seems Kodak has problems with the battery and/or electrical system with this product. Click a couple of pictures and the camera would die in mnid stream. Plug it into the wall 2/3 times and the camera would finally come back on. This was the second kodak camera in a week I returned. Kodak has traditionally built great problem free cameras. For the 1st time in years I'm considering another brand.

Refund please!

Roseanne G., Amazon
7 May 2010
  • Summary: I am a fan of Kodak and was excited to receive their newest addition to their digital camera line. When it arrived, I fully charged it, took five pictures and then it started malfunctioning! Kept shutting down! The screen displayed a fully charged battery sign so I'm not sure what went wrong. Very disappointed! Needless to say, its going back and I will continue to use my Kodak M182.
