Summary: purchased this camera in 2010 to replace an old, slow outdated HP model. generous 9.2 megapixels, several shooting modes, including low light mode, action, etc. all seem to work flawlessly. battery life is good, however i suggest you buy a external charger and spare battery available on amazon.com recently learned that kodak has gone under, so im not quite sure how long this item will be available. grab one of these while you can!
Excerpt: I want to start out by saying that I bought this camera for myself. All the reviews I find are parents buying the camera for their kids. This made me nervous thinking that it's not good quality or whatever. I have to say I was amazingly shocked when I took this out of the box and started futzing around with it. We had a Canon Powershot and when that broke, I realized how much I missed my camera, but didn't want to spend another $300. I found this camera for less...

Excerpt: I recently bought the Kodak Easy Share M30 for my 6 year old daughter. At $100 it's a great value. It's very user friendly and my six year old daughter loves it and can use it very easily. It takes almost instant pictures that come out clear and nice even when a child is using it! When I upload to the Kodak Easy Share program it's very easy to then upload to Facebook so I can share her pictures with others.
It was a rough start, but now, its pretty fantastic

Summary: I always use the auto feature, I recommend no one use the other settings, they just don't seem to capture the quality as well as auto. Auto works better than landscape mode for landscapes, auto works better than portrait, ect. Mine is the rechargeable "green" version, I got it from walmart for 99 bucks and it was a steal I tell ya. However, the battery at first drove me INSANE, because I would plug it in, and the light would be on for a few seconds then go off.
Summary: I researched cameras for several days, before purchasing this one. It is easy to work, takes fantastic pictures. Editing features are great. I was hoping for a decent camera...and I got a wonderful camera. I have had success with Kodak before, and I loved the color. The camera is well worth what I paid. I would definately purchace again!!
Summary: Refurbished is a term that makes one suspect quality. In the case with this purchase I am completely satisfied with performance and appearance of the camera purchased. Pictures and videos are clear and pristine. For a grandmother, it is a NECESSARY item when grandkids are around. Abuelita.
