Summary: I really got shafted. The product is used as stated, but the joy stick is worn out. I didn't even get what I paid for. I got shafted. If I ever buy another used camera, buy it directly from Kodak as reconditioned.
Summary: I have owned this camera for a little over a year. I loved my 8 megapixel easy share that had great photo and video quality. After dropping the first Kodak onto cement, I decided to replace it with another easy share with more mega pixels and this camera was my first choice at the time. Right away I noticed that the video quality is horrible. I stopped taking any video within the first week. The camera worked okay for the first few months.
Summary: At least one day beyond the warranty period! Purchased July 11, 2009. This camera died while still under warranty; however, our daughter was overseas visiting family and we were not able to return the camera until she returned home yesterday (1 year, 2 days). HP support had us on hold indefinitely, so we hung up after 30 minutes and sent an email. Disappointed that the camera lasted barely 12 months.
Summary: I WILL NEVER BUY A KODAK CAMERA AGAIN AFTER THS EXPERIENCE. THE BATTERY LIFE ON THIS CAMERA IS A MERE 3-5 DAYS. A FEW PICTURES, TURNED OFF, IN A DRAWER. THE NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE THE CAMERA IS DEAD AND NEEDS A FEW HOURS TO RECHARGE. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY SAME ISSUE. I BOUGHT IT NEW. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH KODAKS 'HELP' CENTER WHERE I HAD A COMPLICATED CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE OVERSEAS. THEY WERE VERY POLITE BUT COMPLETELY USELESS.
Summary: Bought it for my daughter as a replacement for a Polaroid digital camera that started shutting itself off at random times. This one lasted for about two months, but now it is frozen in Smart Mode. No matter what we do when it comes on it will not allow for Mode selection. It takes pictures, but that's it. Really disappointed in both Polaroid AND Kodak. Won't be buying any more of their products!!
Summary: I've had bad luck with these cameras and would not recommend them. One was returned after being inoperative after only one week of service. The other two are being returned to Kodak for repairs.
Summary: I bought this camera as a Christmas present for my daughter. By March we were returning it for the first time. It would not power on and the lens would not retract. After waiting for it for a month, it came back. It then worked for about a month before it did the same thing again. Then after receiving it back, it did it again. Now it is the end of August, 8 months after purchase, and it has broken for the Fourth - yes, count them - FOURTH TIME.
