Summary: The previous reviews discussed the camera used batteries very quickly. That is totally true, even with lithium batteries. I have found out that this product is discontinued and you cannot send photos/video to Facebook, You Tube, or anywhere. Also there is no tech support or app as advertised. I was really disappointed, because I had an Easy Share CX4200 (no video) for 12 years and took it everywhere. When I saw this camera, I was thrilled to get one as a replacement.
Summary: Kodak and Amazon continue to sell this camera knowing that there was no support system for this camera. I am unable to create the photo album that I hope for by purchasing this camera. Neither Kodak nor Amazon will accept the return of this camera. Most of all I am very disappointed in Amazon because I really trust the Amazon brand.
Summary: The camera did not come with the EasyShare software. And unlike most digital cameras I cannot see it as a "external hard drive". It shows up as a CDROM but with no picture files. When I go online to download/install the easyshare software, Kodak tells me they no longer support or allow download for the software. They do have a smaller app, which is still available which I was able to get working. Very disappointing.
Summary: Kodak has been out of business since 2012 -INCLUDING software support for their "Easyshare" app, which enables you to transfer pictures from the camera to your computer. Prior to that, the Easyshare C-195 was probably a really good camera. But now - unless you're a computer software genius- it's just a paperweight. NO ONE should be selling Kodak inventory!
Summary: I could not upload the software. I tried for hours, went to the Kodak support center. Nothing... They don't even have the software online for the camera. When nothing worked I only had one option: Send it back/piece of junk.
Summary: Amazon why are you selling an unsupported device? Kodak, why wouldn't you at least let us download the last version of the app that allows this camera to communicate with a pc as a storage device? To still sell a product with this arbitrary limitations put in place is just plain wrong. I have ordered the old style big SD RAM card it requires, which will be the only way to get your pictures. If that even works?
Utterly useless; why does Amazon sell these without a warning?

Summary: I was looking for a cheap camera and ordered this, assuming that any item in stock, four-star-rated, and without obvious warning signs would be a _functional camera._ Instead, I got this piece of vintage junk, which isn't recognized by either of my computers (mac and windows 8 resp.), and which was apparently discontinued _years ago_ by Kodak and has not been supported for years. I went back to the reviews and found that all the favorable ones were from ~2010.
Summary: Do not buy one of these cameras ! Kodak has discontinued this line and there is no online help or support. As most new items is does not come with a instruction booklet. You are refered to the Kodak web site. Once you find this item and click for on line instructions you get a notice that this item is no longer supported. I then tried to call the 800 number. The automated system tells you the same thing, however if you stay on line you can speak with a rep...

Summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! KODAK NO LONGER SUPPORTS THIS PRODUCT! I WAS EXCITED TO FINALLY GET MYSELF A CAMERA THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO UPLOAD PICTURES QUICKLY AND EASILY TO THE INTERNET, BUT WHEN I WENT TO THE WEBSITE LISTED ON THE CAMERA'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING THE NECESSARY SOFTWARE, THERE WAS A MESSAGE STATING "KODAK EASYSHARE Software is no longer available as a download. We no longer provide live support (phone or email) for EASYSHARE Software.
