Summary: I wouldn't use this camera if you paid me to. Indeed, I was literally paid to use this camera for work, and experienced not one satisfactory moment with it. It seems to take passable photos, once you can figure out its nonsensical user interface, but good luck loading these pictures onto your computer. I'm a mac user, and maybe the experience is different for PC users, but I highly doubt it.
Summary: The Kodak EasyShare C142 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.5 Inch LCD (Red) arrived in inoperaple condition. The camera would not function at all. We tried new batteries, but it still would not function. When purchasing a used product, the seller should check the condition before selling to a customer. I would recommend purchasing new electronics from now on.
Summary: I purchased this camera after my previous camera had broken. I needed a good camera to take pictures as a gift. Unfortunately, when I tried to insert the memory card, the camera completely froze. I had to take the batteries out to turn the camera back on. Not only that, but each time I tried to take a new picture, I was prompted to set a new setting. (Ex. Indoor, outdoor, sunny, etc.) That became very annoying after awhile.
Summary: I purchased this camera for my daughter's 10th birthday. I wanted a camera that took decent pictures but wouldn't have to worry about. The camera has a cheap feel to it but takes surprisingly good pictures. We had to return the first camera we received because it kept freezing up but the replacement is fine. It uses up the batteries pretty fast, so I'd recommend getting rechargeable batteries.
Summary: I bought this camera because my family was going to the Bahamas and I wanted something inexpensive and light. Yes, the camera was inexpensive, and people say you get what you pay for but this camera was so subpar the 'you get what you pay for' expression would only have been accurate if I had paid $0.02. It was the worst camera I have ever - ever - used.
