Kodak EasyShare CD1013 - bargain priced, but unreliable
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I purchased this camera with no hesitation on a "Black Friday" Day after Thanksgiving sale. I had been the owner of an earlier model Kodak EasyShare camera and was quite satisfied with it's performance, ease of use, and durability. I used that camera for nearly 5 years with no problems taking good quality photos and downloading them via the dock which came along with my earlier purchase. The photos on my new camera are not as clear. The red eye feature has not been...
Excerpt: I'm still not sure about how good this camera is... I ended up buying this during a vacation to Australia because my Nikon D60 was experiencing troubles and I didn't have time in a foreign country to go get it fixed... the best thing I can say about the Kodak is that it was cheap enough that quality wasn't really a problem. The camera does take decent pictures and, in my experience with it, can hold battery life like it's nobody's business.
Excerpt: Well I must say this, Kodak is a good brand for sure. I have had my Kodak digital camera for about 2 or 3 years. I admit I have had some problems with it such as the lens cover not opening and shutting on its own sometimes and the battery chamber is sometimes hard to open and close. It takes great pictures though and I love the Kodak Easy Share Printer that came with it. I love being able to connect my camera to it and print my pictures instantly.
Excerpt: I purchased this camera for my daughter last Christmas. Her previous camera was very old. (I believe it was 3 megapixels. OUCH.) I was a bit unsure of this camera, as it was sold in a cardboard blister-pack type of package. I would have rather given her something that actually came in a box, but when I looked at the features, it really did seem like a great camera for her. She was looking for something that she could make vidoes on to put on YouTube.

The Kodak Easyshare C1013 Printer is a great thing.

Excerpt: My experience with the Kodak Easyshare Printer started out great. Picture were as beautiful as if you took them out to a professional and had them done. It was easy to use and understand. Replacing the ink cartridge was also easy to do. But, after about the third ink cartridge change the printer began to jam alot. Also, the tray that hold the printer paper would not sit in right or the machine itself would not pull the paper into the machine for copying. I had to...
Summary: I have one Kodak C875 8.0 MP EasyShare that I really like. Great scene options, 5X zoom, and takes excellent pictures. The CD1013 doesn't have as many scene selection options, and only a 3X zoom. Yes, it is more MPs, but I don't care the overall picture quality. Also, the CD1013 requires 2 "AA" batteries. You cannot use a camera battery. A bummer design goof. I would take another C875 any day.
Summary: camera is ok and i bought it as it will work with my printer dock but the pics it takes not anywhere as nice /clear as my old kodak easy share the C553 that camera really out shines this model only wish i could have found one of them to buy
Excerpt: This CAmera is amazingly simple to use. There are many functions available with this camera. You can take pictures of fireworks or you kids when they are running across the soccer field. The zoom on the camera is wonderful. I can be 40 feet away and still get an awesome shot. This camera is user frienly enough that even my children can use it. They love to take pictures and be able to see them right away. the LCD screen is very clear.
