Summary: Had a problem with formating memory cards. For some reason kodak brand memory cards wouldn't format, I tried other brands of memory cards and they wouldn't format either, so I sent the camera back. I don't think it was the cards that was the problem. But it seem to be a good camera.
Summary: I won this camera on an auction for about $15 including shipping.( a steal indeed) It is a good camera, just a little dated compared to the high definition and more advanced cameras out now. However, I wanted it for personal purposes, therefore I'm satisfied with it. Overall a good camera and takes the best pictures when there is a lot of natural lighting or when outdoors.
Summary: This is the 2nd DX7590 I have owned. The first one was stolen and I sure missed it. I am a film photographer by trade and I use this camera to photograph my work to put online. Lot of settings for the user who wants to use them. Very easy for the point and shoot person. Picture quality with the Schneider glass lens I would say out does most point and shoot cameras. Highly recommended.

Summary: Best point and shoot I have, and I have a few (Nikon,Sony, etc.) A bit clunky but worth the size. Not good for movies, but I use it as picture camera.Only takes 2 GB Max SD cards, but at 5 mp it's ok. Battery life is outstanding, and speed of shots are adequate 1 every about every 2 sec (with flash). Very clear , sharp images, good color saturation, no complaints.
Summary: Great camera.. Sold new for around $399. When you can find a good used one for $50., you are in for getting your moneys worth. They don't make them like this anymore, and Kodak is really out of business.. They are allowing their name to be used on other products now.
Summary: Not a bad little camera with plenty of enhancement products still available for purchase. Although not state-of-the-art, this little camera does the job for the casual user, incorporating the basic features most wanted. It gives the appearance of being a "better" semi-professional camera without looking overly complex. Recommended for the beginning photographer who wants the option for something delivering both point-and-shoot technology and manual photography tweaking.
Excerpt: Although this camera is only a 5 mega pixel camera, I love it! The pictures are great. It is easy to use and has fast response time. I bought a 7.2 mega pixel camera to upgrade this camera at Christmas time and find myself using my Sony more. This camera is just so easy to use and it's video capabilities are fantastic. The only thing I do not like about it is that it is rather bulky and heavy.
The Kodak DX7590 is the most awesome camera I have ever had.

Excerpt: The Kodak Easyshare DX7590 is a great camera. I love digital cameras and this is the best one Ive had. Some may think its bulky but I like the feel of a little bit larger camera. It takes great pictures and videos . The battery life is great and you just put it on the dock to recharge. It is easy to use in any light (my kids can even take great pictures with it).
