Excerpt: Been a Certified SCUBA Diver for years. Now only dive on vacation a couple times a year. Bought this camera forthose. So far, done bucket & pool testing, seems to be a great camera for the cost. First deep dive with it in September. I'll come back to let you know more.
Summary: Just back from a trip to Hawaii and Philippines for diving. I am PADI advanced diver with one of my specialty courses in underwater photography. The camera holds well with any depth I hit - over 100ft. When descending to a deeper depth, color fails. A camera of this sort is not the best if you are looking for vibrant colors at depth. There are no zoom features to speak of.
Excerpt: Good construction Easy battery charging Affordable accessories Uses: Fresh and salt water diving. Mounted for kayaking and biking. Hand held mounted to pistol grip or photo bracket, for general fun use.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Highly Compatible, Lightweight
Summary: uses up a battery in about 5 minutes - takes good video but terrible pictures. I missed an interation withj a whole pod of dolphins because it shut itself off everytime i hit the "take picture" buttton.
Summary: I purchased this camera for Myron's birthday gift. My other son has the Top of the line go pro and I thought it would be interesting to see how the intova camera competed with the go pro. After receiving his gift we were off to Mexico for eight days. Both cameras performed very well and actually the intova camera seemed to be more user-friendly with its built-in display. The go pro needs an upgrade to get a display.
Great camera, even better price. Photos and videos comparable to cameras that are WAY pricier!

Summary: Takes fantastic photos and even better video! A truly great starter camera for underwater adventures. I recently started diving, and I have taken it down to 75ft without any trouble, taken hundreds of photos and dozens of videos without issue, all for a VERY decent price. All of these photos were taken on the same dives that another diver had very expensive professional camera, and while his closeups were a little better quality (not a lot!
Summary: I purchased this camera for scuba diving. On my last trip, it worked great. The camera charges by plugging it into your laptop to charge it up with the USB provided. Took good pictures, however I was not familiar with all the settings yet, so could have probably taken great pictures had I known how to work it. The camera floats which is a plus. In addition, divemasters at most dive shops use this and can assist you on how to work it.
Summary: Best setting for camera is 720p 60fps. The 60fps gives you a smooth steady video while diving as you are always having movement. You can also zoom while in this setting while 1080p you can't. Follow instructions, keep o-ring lubed and you will not regret the purchase. Get the 32g memory. Battery has long run time. If you video for extended times, the camera automatically breaks up video into separate files. I was NOT impressed with the still shots though.
