Summary: I absolutely ADORE this camera and so does my boyfriend - the one I actually bought it for. The charge holds for an unbelievably long time which is pretty nice and the quality of the photos is exceptional! The service was great, too!
Summary: This price is way off. I bought this camera new many years ago in Walmart for less than $90. I am looking for a replacement because I dropped mine several times and no longer works. I love the camera but I wouldn't pay this price in a million years.
Summary: I liked the size, weight, and appearance of the camera. It has some very nice features such as in camera editing and a built in lens cover. I like the full sized SD card and the fact that it also takes videos. I would definitely repurchase it and would recommend it to others.
Summary: Wore out my first one after umpteen years. Really disappointed that HP quit making them. This guy wants $150 for his and it comes with nothing. Purchased second one at a reasonable price from another seller via Amazon for $35 and it included two extra batteries and the car charger and in home recharger. Unfortunately, I broke it soon after, changing batteries in a rush, by not noticing the cover over the battery/memory disc hadn't completely latched.
Summary: I have had this camera for quite some time and it still works. The only part of the camera that is not perfect is the slide on the back that turns the camera on. I am now having some trouble and have to slide it more than once sometimes to get it to turn on. The camera itself is a very good camera. HP is a good brand. I have been very pleased with this product.
HP R837 24X + 8X Digital Zoom Fabulous Camera! I own 2!
9 November 2010
Summary: This is not the most current HP model (original purchased my first HP R837 in 2008) but I now have 2! Why, because it’s a great little camera! I love the ease of use, the comfort of the keys, and the non-complicated & easy instruction on each mode icon that you click on. It really tells you which mode of setting to be on. i.e.
Summary: I wanted an inexpensive point and shoot. I had a few requirements: No moving lens (seen too many with dirt-jammed mechanisms), Charge from mini-USB (like my cell phone; I have chargers in my cars, at home, at work) good viewfinder, and use large SD cards. This one wins on all counts. I've taken over a thousand pics and 30+ minutes of video now. I was not too sure how the viewfinder screen would work, but it is bright enough to use outside in sunlight.
Summary: The price was terrific on this item, plus, an extra bonus---free shipping. I'm not qualified at this time to give a complete review, as I've yet to print out pictures or download onto my computer. I plan on doing that soon. I think the image quality is good and I like its image- enhancing features.
