Summary: The major reason that I wanted this camera was it's advertised zoom capability. Maybe I expected too much from an inexpensive camera and I got what I paid for. The picture quality is good and it is easy to use. The battery life is short so my next camera will certainly have a rechageable battery.
Excellent in all respects, I could not ask for a more reliable camera.

Summary: It is a great camera for the money. This is the second one I have had, my first one was accidentally broken. It is easy to use, has a large viewing screen, and is excellent for an all-around-general-use camera.
Excerpt: I researched this camera before I bought it. I was looking with something with higher megapixels so that the pictures would be very sharp. This camera is ok, but it will sometimes stall when you're trying to take a picture with it. It can be frustrating when you're trying to take a quick shot. Some of the futures are cool, but it doesn't always work the way I need it to when I need it to.
Excerpt: This camera could be better. The picture quality is fine, but it has a slow picture taking speed. I'll have to wait more than 30 seconds to get a shot and when you're taking pictures of five kids that can make things difficult. And if you move the slightest bit, you end up with a blurry picture.
Excerpt: I recently purchased the HP Mz67 digital camera. I found a great deal on it, but the suggested price is only about $150. This camera has 8 mega pixels, 6x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom. The large 2.5 inch display is easy to see when you want to view the pictures you have already taken. As with most digital cameras today, you can also take video clips as well.
Excerpt: I got the HP Photosmart Mz67 as an upgrade for my Olympus C-765. Although the megapixels on the HP is better the zoom is slightly inferior. At 6x it is just over half of the Olympus at 10x. It does have a digital zoom but, just like any camera, the more of the digital zoom you use the lower the quality of you photo. The megapixels are double that of the Olympus, but for certain outdoor naturaul light shots, is not as good.
Summary: I find the Menu and buttons VERY user-friendly. The HP cameras were recommended by Steve Dotto on Dotto's Data Cafe for their excellent user interface, and I agree that they are A1. I took a landscape picture at maximum digital zoom, and I was amazed at how good it turned out. Maybe HP will start making cameras again some day. Until then, I would recommend buying one if you can find one.
Summary: I love this camera. It takes very clear photos...even in the right lighting these pics almost look professional. It really enhances colors, its very easy to use and a good size as well :) I just love it :)
