Excerpt: This camera has some pros and cons, like all others, but I plan to find another camera to buy. I got the HP Photosmart 635 2.1MP Digital Camera from my sister-in-law when she got a new camera (actually her brother-in-law had let her borrow it for a while, …
Summary: This was a great deal on a camera with many extra features. I believe that the reason it was selling so cheaply was because it is a bit complicated to use. It took someone like me who has used many cameras to be able to figure out the many features and the reason for them.
Summary: I bought this camera in September and it managed to last a whole 3 months before it broke. I didn't even drop it or anything. The batteries fell out of it while I had it turned on. The lens is stuck out, and now the camera won't turn on or do anything.
I Luuuv this camera...I love it! I love it! I love it!
17 May 2007
Summary: Why do I love it so much? Because in spite of the fast battery consumption, it delivers what it promises: - Optical AND Digital zoom in 1 camera with auto focus - True plug n play (with my WinXP OS/Suite) - Beautiful hi-resolution pics (lower resolutions available) - Extremely easy to use (for those...
Summary: If you're having a problem with the battery life, judging on other reviews, you aren't the only one. This camera does work decently when the batteries are working. It takes video with sound in addition to the pics.
Good for the price/bad warrenty service/eats batteries quick
10 March 2005
Summary: I got this camera about half a year ago, and it worked quite well. However, unless you use full optical zoom, the edges of the photos are bent outwards. This camera also eats batteries much faster than my Kodak DX6340 did.
Summary: This an acceptable digital camera, not much more. It's a solid value if you find it for less than $75 or so, but I personally would pay more for a Kodak or Olympus with similar specs next time around.
Summary: I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA FOR "ANYONE" ANY AGE AS A STARTER CAMERA FOR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY. I WAS GIVEN A MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE CAMERA (DIGITAL) FOR A GIFT. MY FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA. IT WAS A DISASTER. I COULDN'T EVEN READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL IT WAS SO CONFUSING.
Summary: I wouldn't call myself a [digital] camera expert. I have a few friends with digicams and this my first one. All the features on this thing are great! Lightweight, practical, and it's not too slow taking pictures or loading them. It's fun to play around with, too.
Summary: This camera takes awesome pics for the value, but you will make up for it with all the batteries you will need to purchase! I took this camera to a car show after having it for a couple months and took a 10 pack of batteries with me, I used all 10 batteries up within 2 hours and only took about 80...
