Summary: This camera was nice in that it's small and easy to both handle and store in my purse. However, I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the photos. I thought that 12MP would give me good depth of color and noticeable crispness. I had a 4MP camera before this, so I assumed the difference would be rather dramatic. However, I find the photos from this camera to be sometimes fuzzy in focus and not as impressive as I had hoped.
Summary: I have owned mine for about 2 years now and it still takes great pics. Blurred images occur when you shake it slightly during press or if it doesnt focus correctly. The biggest issue is for me that when I take pics I need to take a couple in sequence, and this defiantly cant live up to what I need it for. It will have the dreaded "Battery Exhausted" screen pop up and shut off after a couple pictures within a few minutes. Basically its saying the cameras overheating.
Summary: Great little camera for the price of about $70. I use rechargable batteries and they last forever on a charge taking 100s of pictures. A few things I noticed though is that no matter how I adjust the settings all the pictures are pretty much at a couple of mega pixels in size (I should be able to adjust this but it does not seem to work).
Summary: I love this little camera! I just wanted something cheap that would take decent pictures, and this is a good one! I got great pictures at the Grand Canyon with the panorama setting. The only problems with it are that the night portrait settings kind of blow out the subject with the flash, and there is a little bit longer of a delay with the shutter sometimes, but for $60, can you really complain?
Summary: My Husband did on-line research before we bought this camera. It seems to be a good camera in general and great for the price! We are very happy with it and with the free shipping and arrival time.
Summary: I purchased this camera for general purpose picture taking. I bought a refurb from one of the Amazon merchants for about $53. The camera arrived in nearly perfect condition. There was one tiny scratch on it, but that is to be expected with a refurb. Without even reading the brief quick start paper I was able to start taking pictures since the menus are very simple to navigate. You will need to download the full manual from GE to get the most out of it.
Summary: I purchased this camera for my photography class, on sale. It sucks the life out of brand name batteries, 2 new last about 1 hour. So, buy the time you purchase a truck load of batteries, you're better off purchasing a camera that has a battery charger with it. Poor pic quality, no happy with it at all.
