Summary: For the amount we spent on this camera, and am completely satisfied with it. I wish it had a faster shutter speed, but other than that I have no major complaints. I will be upgrading soon, but for my first digital camera, it has been perfect.
Summary: There is a bit of a learning curve. The manual is on CD which is not a problem for me. After working with it for about an hour you will be taking 90% great pictures. Have not had it long enough to rate durability. Batteries do not seem to run down too quick.
Summary: This camera gives you great pictures if you use it right. It is semi easy to use, you just have to read the manual and practice with it. I learned the first day. The video isn't bad but isn't the greatest either.
It's worth the money, just wish I knew how to use it!

Summary: Not too many complaints, however, the picture quality is just inconsistent. I've had the camera for a couple months now and I just can take consistently good photos. I have played around with the settings and I think I have gotten better. Maybe it's just user error?!?!
Summary: I wanted an upgrade, from a Kodak snap and shoot, this camera was my choice after ton's of searching. I take photo's of everything, from my nephew and dog to the nature and my surrounding's. And this camera is GREAT for all.
Summary: After using the camera for six weeks I am ready to write a little review. This is very comfortable to hold and is loaded with features. The quality is very good. As others have noted, this appears to be a relabeled Fuji camera. I compared the GE (15x) to a Nikon Coolpix S6000 (7x).
Summary: First, I want to point out that this is just a preliminary review. I researched cameras in this class for quite a while before ordering. When you look at the price and then look at the features offered, something just does not seem right.
Summary: This camera is not Cannon or Nikon. Not is it a Fuji. However, for the price, it is a great camera. It's comparable to a Kodak digital camera in quality and such. I really like all the automated scene settings (i.e. - snow pics, night pics, museum pics, plant pics, and many more automated settings.
Summary: The GE X5 Pro digital camera is like a Miata - sexy, agile, quick, and smooth to operate. Nice camera to select for digital camera newbie. Better than the digital cameras that fit in the pocket, and not as expensive or complicated as the digital SLRs.
Summary: I've had a Canon point and shoot for years but it has been on the fritz for months now. I figured I would treat myself to a new camera for Christmas and was looking at the next step up from the Canon point and shoots. I was on Amazon doing comparisons when I found this little surprise.
