Summary: For the amount we spent on this camera, and am completely satisfied with it. I wish it had a faster shutter speed, but other than that I have no major complaints. I will be upgrading soon, but for my first digital camera, it has been perfect.
Summary: There is a bit of a learning curve. The manual is on CD which is not a problem for me. After working with it for about an hour you will be taking 90% great pictures. Have not had it long enough to rate durability. Batteries do not seem to run down too quick. I'm taking 3 MP photos for work and they look great. 14 megapixel photos should be good enough to blow up to poster size or bigger.
GE X5 14 Megapixel 15x Wide Optical Zoon 2.7 TFT LCD

Summary: This particular camera is your basic bridge camera the photos come out clear but also has a high dynamic range function to bring out those dark photos. For 14 mega pixels and all the options, the zoom is not that great so in a sense for a budget camera it is well worth the money. I also use a tripod that I bought separately. The camera is compact has a good bright flash for dark photos it comes with 1. 5 volt alkaline batteries. However, I use rechargeable batteries.
Summary: I am extremely pleased with the ease of use, features, and picture quality I have on this camera. It was sold as a pre-owned, but, the seller took such good care of it you would never know. I know you need to read all the information, and was pleased that this camera came with the strap, lens cap, instruction video, and manual. Very Happy!
Summary: Absolutely love the GE X5 I purchased. It has great picture quality and does so much more than a regular Point & Shoot. I would recommend this camera to everyone I know, it's just that wonderful!!!

Summary: I am by far, the farthest guy from a "pro".. but i do have to say,, YES this camera is a great value and has more features then i needed , but Once i found out how to use them, provides me with great pictures!! the Optical ZOOM is by far a wonderfully useful tool.. optical-- much better then digital-- and the function buttons are programmable, so if, say,, you wanted to set up the camera, to take Black & White pitchers it saves the setting and it is easy to go back and...
