Excellent camera. I bought it for an international trip

Summary: Excellent camera. I bought it for an international trip, and it worked wonderfully. It takes good, clear photos and video, doesn't weigh too much, and even with the strap, it's not cumbersome or in the way. The only downside is it doesn't get great battery life, and it would be nice to see a version that takes a standard AA or AAA battery, but it wasn't enough to detract from the camera's overall use.
Summary: My purchase was a very specific one. I wanted a very inexpensive 1080p video camera for trips and product reviews. Video quality isn't the greatest but it's perfect for my use. I used it for the first time with it mounted on the tripod and after watching the video, I noticed the focus motor is audible in the video. I could hear the motor working when a depth change occurred.

Summary: The battery life on this camera is very poor. It holds no pictures so you definitely need a disk in order to use the camera. I did not have it for a week before it malfunctioned. The lens camera came out when I powered it up, now it will not go back in. In process of returning it, will see how that goes.
Summary: The camera was missing a cord that I expected to come with it. I had purchased the camera elsewhere originally (but it was a display model and had issues), and that one had had a cord with it to connect to the computer. We are still working on figuring out all of the features, but so far we like the camera itself.
Awesome little Camera - Once you read the instruction manual

Summary: You can usually buy a point and shoot camera and figure it out with out reading the instructions - this is not a point and shoot camera - it is more like a small digital SLR camera. lots of options and ability for manual settings. Lots of the negative reviews are obviously from people who didn't know how to operate it.
