Summary: I bought this camera for my wife in 2007. It takes ok pictures and is very easy to use. Never had any of the appearantly common battery issues until early 2010 when the Alkaline batteries would go dead for no reason while the camera was off and put away.
Summary: This camera is probably the best camera I have ever owned. There is only one thing I don't like about it and that is that you have to press the button hard and sometimes a few times to get it to take the picture.
Summary: Well lets start on the housing and display. It is made of a shiny plastic which scratchs very easily, so within a couple of days of getting it I already had scratches all over it. Then, I bought the camara in May 08, I noticed that the battery would die easily.
Summary: I saw the camera, loved it, bought it, now I can't use it because NO battery lasts more than 3 minutes. I have bought 3 sets of rechargeable batteries and charger and it is now obvious that I am wasting money. The issue is NOT the batteries, but the camera.
Summary: This item is very nice for the price and very simple to use, I would recommend to buy this item...."However"....You will need to buy a separate battery recharger and rechargeable batteries, plus a 1gb SD memory card
Summary: For its price range this is an amazing camera! The pix are sharp and can be cropped for close-ups without noticable pixel loss. My sister has this camera and my husband fell in love with it. He was especially delighted with the short movies we could make.
Summary: I bought this camera to replace my Fuji Film Finepix 230. After having it for only two weeks I am utterly blown away. I was skeptical of purchasing from General Electric as I had never had experiences with their imaging products.
