This is the exact model camera my children gave me as a Christmas gift several years ago. One day I decided to list items on EBay and was just snapping away with the Gateway. Suddenly the shutter would not close when I tried the off/on button. I took it to Wolf's for repair to which I was asked the following question, "When did you drop this as that is the only reason this would happen?" Have owned this camera for several years. It operated well until recently, but it has started freezing up, going 1s and 0s in the view screen like some older computers sometimes do. It is of very poor quality where the battery life is concerned. A charge lasts a very short time, and it will not take a picture with the charge cable inserted in camera which is no help when battery is low. Read more
