Good digital camera for home use or Ebay selling

runwaybliss, Ebay
5 June 2008
  • Summary: I bought this camera because I own a Fujifilm MX100. I purchsed my MX100 many years ago and have been using it for taking pictures for Ebay selling. I like that it is fast and very easy to use. Not complicated. My MX100 looks similar to DX 10 but I believe it is older model than MX100. The differences that I noticed right away are the exterior, the editing functions, deleting files. DX10 has more rugged exterior, with satin-look rough-finish matte black colour.

even a fool can use this one

  • Excerpt: "My husband bought this camera about 3 years ago as he decided he would be able to save the money he spent on it by doing everything on the computer. It was used every day virtually all day and have never let us down yet. When we went on holiday to Germany it came with us and was the best thing we took with us (besides clothes and money!) The amount of pictures taken was beyond belief and the delete button was used often until the "perfect" picture ...

DX10 - a good start with digital photography

Ciaocoda, Ciao
1 June 2003
  • Excerpt: "I have never been a fan of traditional photography. Too much fuss having to take the film in to be developed. Then I was given a DX10! My love of computing was now linked to digital imagery. It was so easy - take a few pictures, review, download, print or simply store for viewing on screen. This camera has a simple menu structure based on a revolving wheel. The screen allows you to set up your picture and capture the shot how you want it. I ...

  • Excerpt: "I've had this camera for over a year and use it continually to create images to upload to web-sites. I don't know a lot about photography and for a novice it's perfect. I have no grumbles so far. For a cheap digital camera it the pictures it produces are surprisingly good and the camera is really easy to operate. I've even used it to take wedding photos that were printed and framed before being handed to the happy couple at the wedding reception later ...

Dead easy digital pics

Degs, Ciao
18 April 2001
  • Excerpt: "Easy? It doesn't get any easier! In Sept 99 I was looking for a dead simple digital camera that I could easily stash away on travels, check what photos I have taken, (deleting duds as I go) and then download with ease. I didn't want any fancy features, (or even a zoom!) and basically wanted something that I could use to record pictures that I could email friends and family. I bought a DX10 and never looked back. It was just what I needed. I ...

16 March 2001
  • Excerpt: "...- the cheapest being the Fujifilm DX - 10 @ £195. I was sold. So did the usual paperwork got the cheque in my grubby hands and trotted down to Jessops. I was further delighted to find that when l got there - there was a special reduction on it down to £179 - so l got rechargable batteries and a charger too - excellent. In the box - the camera, smart card, instructions and PC Software. The camera itself is dinky - not like some digital cameras - ...

Quality does come cheap

rambo, Ciao
27 January 2001
  • Excerpt: "A friend of mine bought this camera for his art project and I tried it hence the review. The Fuji DX-10 is a budget camera costing a mere £199 compared to other cameras costing a whooping £800. The camera is easy to hold and slightly larger than a packet of cigarettes. Its shape does not encourage you to get your fingers in the way of either the lens or the flash. How does it work? ***************** The DX-10 uses a wheel with icons to select ...

  • Excerpt: "I got my Fujifilm DX10 just over a year ago. I have been so pleased with it. Enlarged photographs of my grandchildren take pride of place on sitting room walls and I delight in making special cards for special occasions - at half the cost of tailor made shop cards! The software included enables me to take a friend's face and put it on either a curvy or muscular body in luxurious surroundings. This gives a laugh to the recipient. It really has broadened ...

Great Digital Camera

jonwhite, Ciao
25 September 2000
  • Excerpt: "I have had my FujiFilm DX-10 camera for just over two years now and cannot fault it. Okay so it is not at the top of the range and is probably outdated by todays newer technology but I love it. I have recently had a slight mishap with it, the pin which holds the wrist strap in place broke and the camera dropped like a stone to the ground. Oh dear, one dead camera. A quick visit to the Fujifilm website located a service center for me and the camera ...
