Excerpt: Small, tough, and beautiful, the Fujifilm XQ1 is a jewel of a camera. The all metal construction looks good and feels sturdy. There is something stylish about the otherwise retro square dimensions of the XQ1. Compact and pocketable, the layout of the controls, the presentation of the menu screen, and the availability of filters and options are all thoughtfully designed and executed. Right out of the box it takes quality photos.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I'm a professional event photographer and was looking for a decent compact camera to carry around for casual/Informal shooting... After owning this camera for a nice couple of weeks now, I can say with certainty that this is probably the best compact camera with such Phenomenal and Vibrant Image Quality for its relatively low price.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: Many people want a camera that is easy to use but still delivers high quality images. This is what I was looking for for my wife, and I chose the XQ1 based on the extremely successfully mirrorless system cameras Fuji has been putting out recently. Great decision. My wife has not used RAW yet, but the JPG's out of the camera are extremely sharp, free of noise, with good contrast and color. I still import them into Lightroom but rarely find much to improve.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Resolution, Small / Compact
Excerpt: After some weeks using it, I don't have any major complain about the XQ1, by far… It is now my daily partner wherever I go… It's easy to use, very responsive, and really powerfull as far as image quality is concerned for a « point & shoot » cam. Thanks to the clear lens, you can get great shoots in low light conditions, especially at wide angle. Body is well built and commands are easy to customise.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Summary: This is a great little camera. Images are very sharp with excellent white balance and, due to the unique Fuji sensor, shows no break up at high magnification. It easily beats all of the Sony cameras I've owned in the past.
