Summary: I've owned perhaps 30 digital cameras in the last 15 years, everything from high-end DSLRs from Nikon, Sony & Fujifilm to really cheap no-name brand point & shoots. During that time, I've shot approx 30k pictures - at one point I was shooting 2000 pictures a month....

Summary: This Camera failed in a number of ways described here in other reviews, all at pretty much the same time. Lens control error, and completely whited out images so that the camera was totally unusable.

Summary: Fuji warranty is non existent. Buy and take you chances that you do not need it. A lot of the reviews are "vine" . They got theirs free so they do not have anything at risk should they need warranty service.
Summary: Lens control error after light use for 20 months. Shot less than 4000 photos in total. Good picture quality and color rendering when it's working…I was first very impressed by XF-1's picture quality and design and then purchased a X100s, but will probably not buy another fuji camera in future.

Summary: As so many others, I got the "Lens control error" after 18 months of not very intensive use. The warranty is only good for a year, and as you can read in other reviews, the manufacturer is not doing a good job living up to its responsibility even then.
