Very cool camera

  • Excerpt: I'm loving this camera. I bought it after renting one for a two week trip. Had to have it after that. One thing I should mention - this is not a "U.S. Model" according to the Fuji USA guy I talked to. And, a little strangely, the serial number on the camera did not match the one on the box.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Great Resolution, Small / Compact
  • Cons: Short Battery Life

Great

  • Excerpt: I have owned my X100s for about a year. I purchased it after reading many stellar reviews. The one that made me buy it was a statement from Zack Arias that if his studio was burnt he would save his X100 (no S then) I have owned cameras and taken pictures since I was ten years old, but for the most...

Excellent camera

  • Excerpt: This camera is what others have said it is - not for beginners but it brings the fun back into photography. It makes me think about what and how to shoot. Due to the fixed lens I find myself actually thinking about where I need to be and what settings I need to use to capture the look I want.

Poor-man's Leica

  • Excerpt: I'm going to try to stay brief. There are so many positive things I can say about this camera. First off, it's small, light; half the weight than my Mark II body and built tough. No plastic was harmed when building this camera.

  • Excerpt: Fantastic for everyday snaps but a real gem of Camera. Solidly built and feels good in the hand - get the optional grip. Great retro film controls. Stunning images. Not exactly a pocket camera, but it will easily fin in a coat or jacket pocket. For me, there' nothing to dislike.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact

  • Excerpt: have the 100s black for about a year. very happy with it. for me there is no reason to upgrade to the 100t. maybe if it had a tilt screen. maybe. but it doesn't. anyone know why, on bhphoto .com, the black x100s is the same price as the x100t. just curious.

Sharp and quiet

17 February 2015
  • Excerpt: The X100s takes outstanding photos and is quiet and unobtrusive in operation. In-camera JPEGS are fantastic in most situations. It reminds me of film Leicas that I used to use years ago in many ways. I'm happy with the purchase.

great camera

bmilan, B&H Photo
15 February 2015
  • Excerpt: This is a great camera, especially knowing that you can possibly have control of everything. The OVF is great, takes some getting used to but i prefer the OVF than EVF. i like havin the evf so i can see what the picture looks like, lighting wise, and using the ovf to take my shot, especially since...
