Poor-man's Leica

Street Hunter-C.F. Robotti Fine Art, B&H Photo
16 April 2015
  • Excerpt: I'm going to try to stay brief. There are so many positive things I can say about this camera. First off, it's small, light; half the weight than my Mark II body and built tough. No plastic was harmed when building this camera.

Probably the single best value available in a compact street camera

6255, Ebay
1 November 2014
  • Summary: Others have already written extensively on the technical aspects of this camera. I'll just add that at the current price-point in the used market, and taking into consideration the notable performance improvements with the latest firmware update, this has got to be just about the most perfect...

Perfect size for travel. Very impressed with low-light performance.

cavu4ever, Ebay
13 October 2014
  • Summary: I read tons of reviews for this camera, especially compared to the Fuji X100S before I bought. For the price difference, I determined the X100 was the better choice. I do a lot of travel, and having a small, quality camera like the X100 saves lots of room in the bag compared to my DSLR.

Better Images than the NEW Fuji X100s - Period.

Daisy D., Amazon
10 September 2014
  • Summary: You simply cant beat the image quality of this Bayer sensor. With the new 2.10 firmware update its a heck of a camera. I chose this over the new x100s.

31 August 2014
  • Excerpt: I just swapped my X100 and X-T1 for a black X100S. Why? silent shutter smaller - great for travel one-handed operation no temptation to get extra lenses (my Pentax K5 serves that purpose discreet - black won't entice thieves to think it is a Leica I had a X100 for several years, and realized that...

The Image quality is amazing and everything but the accesse to button, the speed with witch you can take a photo in a pro...
