The FujiFilm FinePix Z80 is a digital camera that supports effective 14.2 million pixels output via its 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor and features a 13 MB internal memory that is expandable via SD memory card and SDHC memory card. It supports JPEG (Exif Ver 2.3 *3) still image format, AVI (Motion JPEG) with sound recording and WAVE format, Monaural sound. It features Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens with a focal length of f=6.4 - 32mm, equivalent to 35-180mm on a 35mm camera and full-aperture of F4.0 (Wide) / F4.8 (Telephoto). It also features 6.8x digital zoom, up to 1600 ISO sensitivity, TTL 256-zones metering, digital image stabilizer, and Face detection.

The FujiFilm FinePix Z80 also features a 2.7 inch wide TFT LCD monitor that allows users to compose their shots and record 1280 (1280x720 : HD) movies at 24 frames/sec. It supports shooting functions such as SR AUTO (Scene Recognition Auto), Face Detection (with Auto Red-eye reduction,on,off), Framing guideline, Frame No. memory, Silent mode,FinePix color, Motion panorama and playback functions such as Face Detection, Edit For Blog, Image Search, Crop, Image rotate, Slide show, Multi-frame playback (with microthumbnail), Voice Memo, Movie Edit, Mark Upload,Photobook assist, and Favorites. Other features on the Z80 include PictBridge, PRINT Image Matching II, Time difference, and Silent mode. It has a USB 2.0 High-Speed interface and is powered by an NP-45A Li-ion battery (included). The camera measures 3.6 x 2.2 x 0.8 inch and weighs 4.5 oz.
