Summary: This is a great little compact camera that lasted me the whole three years (and more) of university! It takes great quality photos and videos. The only thing that lets it down is that there are no camera effects/ filters unlike a lot of other digital cameras now.
Summary: Brought this camera to take on nights out and on holidays. The touch screen element of the camera is very slow and difficult to use. Also the camea picture quality is poor- very slow taking a picture and if anyone moves a milimeter the photo is blury. I would not recommend this camera to anyone- not even a beginner.
Summary: Fujifilm FinePix Z300fd Digital Camera - Black (10MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 3 inch LCD. This little beauty was a Christmas present for my wife. Efficient, easy to manage, looks good, excellent quality pictures.
Summary: I was impressed with the build quality for the price but as soon as I started using it I realized that by making the exterior well they have had to cut corners with the speed an quality. I have tried all the modes and found the indoor pictures to be very grainy/noisy and every 1 in 5 frames is out of focus. Outdoor pictures are better in terms of digital noise and focus but do not compare to other 10mp cameras.
Summary: It's not the best camera in the world but you get what you pay for. It's sleek, modern and hasn't disappointed me once! The touchscreen makes your friends go "ooohhhhhh". I am very happy with it.
Summary: Had this for several months - bought mine on Fujifilm refurb site. I only use this as a carry-about - main camera is Canon 50D and I keep an SX120s in the car. Plusses: - very convenient size - good price Minusses: - very slow - poor resolution (lens is really too small for its task - appalling lens psotion means constant pictures of left index finger - no viewfinder and dull screen means useless in strong sunlight Overall, I greatly preferred my old - and unfortunately...
Summary: I really wanted a small profiled touchscreen camera so in this regard it does the job. Only problem is that the screen is resistive (not capacative) and thus you need to exert a little pressure to slide between stored pictures, and I don't find it very responsive. I'm also not that convinced by the picture quality, my old Kodak 4mp seemed to take sharper pics.
Summary: Very easy to use compact touch screen camera. No complaints. Battery life seems good too. Good photos & good video. Very pleased. Shame it didn't come with a case (just a simple one for initial use)as this has got to be my next purchase or the screen will get damaged I'm sure.
