Summary: Pros: -Underwater (yes tested this in a pool and worked fine) -Stylish looks. -Long Lasting battery. Cons: -Poor image quality even my cellphone takes better pictures. -Bad light balance. It takes too long to balance pictures usually comes out very illuminated Yes I tried everything on the best or finest options and even tried to manually adjust the light settings. For the price I cant complain and would reccomend it.
Had a dead pixel in it. Also, no paper work was in the box.

Summary: The basic design of this is fine. The unit had a dead pixel in the lower middle of the sensor. No paperwork was in the box upon delivery, so that did not facilitate return. Time is valuable, wasting time on stuff like this is not. If Amazon reads this and wants to get me my paperwork, fine.
Summary: I purchased this camera to compliment my Cannon SLR. Let me just say my SLR has me spoiled and this thing is not even in the same league as my $700 SLR, but that's ok. I bought this because I wanted to take pictures in situations where using my SLR could be dangerous (rain, pool, beach, dirty environments) and wanted a smaller camera that I could fit in my pocket easily. Having gone through multiple digital cameras due to water damage, dust, dirt, etc.
Summary: I got my camera from Costco. Build quality looks good and I like the locking knob on the battery door. I got this camera to take on vacation for use in the water, however it did not pass the standard test. I took several pictures and videos to ensure the camera works before I leave for vacation. I knew not to expect great quality, but that ok since it was just for water use. I reviewed the pics and vids and found a lot of white specs in them.
Summary: This camera takes nice pics and works underwater but...you have to be very careful to follow the time instructions and dry out after use instructions after use in the water. I have had it replaced one time, even tough I did follow the guidelines.... It is sensitive to the salt in ocean water I think. But the company FUJIFILM was really great about replacing it with a new one when I sent them the water damaged one.
Summary: I really wanted to buy the Canon D20 but this was such a deal and after reading the reviews here on Amazon, decided to get it. 90% of my online purchases are from Amazon but I saw this on sale at at Costco for $140 and decided to get it. I bought this strictly to take video at the beach or at the pool but haven't got a chance to yet. I have used it indoors and some of the videos were bad. The still pictures, for the most part, were pretty good.
