Summary: I was really excited about this camera the first couple times I used it. It took nice photos and was easy to use. I started experiencing problems after a couple uses... The T and W buttons were not working properly. I contacted the seller 3 times, and got no response. I then took the camera on vacation and it stopped working totally. When I got home, I contacted the seller 3 more times, and still got no response.
Summary: I bought this camera last year to use when I went fly fishing. I can’t say I was as disappointed in the picture and video quality as some of the other single star reviewers here. Actually I was pleased with the quality of the pictures as well as the video. It worked well for a season and a half. However the last time I attempted to charge the battery I saw a momentary battery charging lamp indicator and then nothing. It was absolutely dead.
Summary: I AM EXTREMEMLY UPSET..I bought this fantastic camera this past December and it stopped working 2 weeks ago. After talking with Fuji i sent it in to have it repaired as the power button wouldnt work. Well they want me to PAY them $115 to REPAIR pins that are bent - that is outrageous......i also contacted Wolf camera and they wouldnt do anything about it.....
Summary: Terrible customer service, exactly the same as other one star reviews. Went to use the camera for the third time and battery wouldn't charge . Bought new battery and it still wouldn't work. Sent it in for repair under one year warranty. They claimed the shock proof camera had been shocked and therefore wasn't covered in addition to bent pins. DONT buy Fuji...you will be very disappointed if there is a warranty claim.
Summary: I have bought 3 XP series cameras for me and my children, 2 of them were the older model XP50 & 1 XP60. Last June during a vacation in Marsa Alam by the Red Sea (Egypt), we all used our cameras for underwater photography at a depth less than 2 meters, surprisingly, the older XP50's which are rated for less depth than than XP60, worked perfectly for a whole week, while the XP60 leaked water inside the camera from the first day.
Summary: I took this on a rafting trip and it held up to the occasional splash, but when I took it snorkeling a few months later, within a minute in the shallow water bubbles started rising from the battery door and the screen went blank. It hasn't turned on since. The battery door was locked, I don't know what else I could have done. I'm just relieved I got it out of the water in time to salvage my memory card. Wish I'd taken the 1-star ratings warning of this more seriously.
Terrible camera, terrible video, just plain awful.

Summary: The lens on this camera is so bad, every picture's resolution is worthless at the edges. Video and picture quality is ruined by the terrible sensor. Noise and fuzz, shimmering skies, you name it this camera does it worse than most. Even bright sunny days (don't even try less than full sun or indoors) result in terrible results. It's the worst camera I've ever owned.
One of the worst customer service and repair department doing business today!!!!

Summary: I copied this review from another person because is exactly what happen to me. Their customer service department is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I left 6 phone messages for the manager and he did not return any. Beware if anything goes wrong with the camera Fuji Repair will try to get you to paid for it. This is the review: " The Finepix took poor pictures. But we tolerated that for the waterproof/shockproof features.
Summary: My daughter received this as a Christmas gift. We wanted something that was water and drop proof. I don't know of anything happening to it, but within 2 months it wouldn't charge or turn on. We sent it in only for them to tell us the issue wasn't covered and would cost $100 in labor to fix. We were very disappointed in the customer service and will not buy another Fuji camera.
