Won't work well every time

picture girl, Amazon
6 June 2013
  • Summary: After several Fuji cameras, and being very pleased with them. I bought it for water use - not underwater - just around water. Some of the pix are clear, some are too blurry to see what the subject is, some are 'washed out' colors.

  • Summary: I have an older Fuji XP that I have had for a few years. It worked great and I had taken it snorkeling a couple of times. 22 July 2012
  • Summary: Panoramic : tricky underwater: a joke, after the 10th use, it flooded beyong repair at a depth of 10 feet Menu: very slow and some redundant or useless night mode sucks beyond believe, so, I suggest that you add few more bucks to the ideal camera, at the end you wont regret it....

So disappointed!

JessNav, Amazon
22 July 2012
  • Summary: I treated myself to this camera just before Christmas 2012, the picture quality was good, there was many different modes to choose from and I found it easy enough to use. I first took it in the sea with me in May time, it worked fine but I did notice the zoom buttons became quite stiff or sticky.

simone spampinato, DP Review

  • Excerpt: Very nice camera, well made and solid. At low ISO outdoor the image quality is no good and indoor and low light is terrible. Jpeg artifact is visible at all ISO.

not really .....

D. Patterson, Amazon
23 July 2012
  • Summary: I'd advise looking elsewhere if underwater pics are important in any way - I have had two good trips to good coral reefs end up with no pics to take back home because very early on my Fuji "fine"pix let water in somehow and died.
