Quality of Pictures is so so, noisy image stabilizer

Summary: The camera feels solid. However, when compared with traditional point and shoots from Canon and Nikon it lacks in picture quality. The optical image stabilization system makes a lot of noise and gets video ruined. When selecting Full HD video recording, the 32GB card I bought says I can only record 24 minutes which doesn't make sense when you compare compression rates from the same card makers.
Summary: The actual pictures are good, and the camera seems durable. Taking the pictures can be a problem. The buttons are not responsive, so I have missed some good shots because the shutter button will not depress to take the picture. You have to push it exactly right. Same with the on/off button. Forget about taking pictures if you have gloves or fat fingers. Then transferring pictures to the computer is a problem.
Summary: I honestly haven't had a single problem to date. The wireless Synch picture transfer works well with my phone for Customer Masonry Construction progress reports. I rarely offer a five star rating until I put the phone through it's paces.
Excelent pics and video - Noisey Audio on video from camera functions
19 November 2013
Summary: So Far so good! Quality of pics is excellent, Camera Shooting Modes work really well - especially the SR Auto mode - very intuitive! I have yet to get good audio on the video clips - LOTS of noise still coming in from the auto focus, etc. I have yet to take it in the water but plan to next summer and will update if anything goes wrong! I've attached a clip that I shot in which you can hear the sound.
Summary: I bought this to replace my Olympus Tough (not sure which model). This is larger in width, leangth and weight. However, not buy a huge amount. I thought it took the same size batteries (they fit inside but did not work). The camera mode shoots 1080p x 60 frames, which is really clear HD. That does however eat battery time. The pictures are 16mp which is 2mp higher than my last camera (good). It also has a wifi function, haven't quite figured that out yet.
Summary: I purchased this camera for our vacation to an island and for taking pictures under water. The quality of the pictures is great, but I was disappointed with the quality of the video. There were some lines going across once I uploaded the videos into my computer. I actually returned it and got the Nikon AW110 instead, and I'm extremely happy with it. I strongly recommend it!!!
Summary: This is a nice camera. I was disappointed by the wifi. It's not true wifi, you need to download the apps and then try to get them to work. Really had to research to find instructions on how to use the app and get the camera to work with multiple devices. The wifi means that the camera will talk to the apps in order to download the pictures to your devices, in my case the iPhone and iPad. There also some timing issues with getting them to see each other.
Summary: This camera replaces an underwater camera that I had since the 90s, it worked wonderfully, but it used APS film. Of course the tech in this camera is amazing, I'm still learning, (have not yet tried it in the water) BUT the Fuji iPhone App to use the Wi-Fi feature ... one of the key reasons I bought this camera is HORRIBLE. It will not work on my iPhone and only very slowly on my iPad and is shockingly cumbersome.
