Summary: Bought this camera for a vacation to Mexico and underwater intended shots. The photos came out fair but not exceptional. Photo quality was just okay above water as well, glad I had another camera with me for vacation shots. I own about 7 cameras of different styles for different reasons and took a chance on Fuji only because of the zoom ratio, megapix, and underwater capability for the price offered. Control Your Expectations - But Keep In Mind The Environment!

Summary: There are many reviews about the quality of the pictures that this camera can take - I'll skip all of that since beauty is the eye of the beholder. For my limited opinion, the camera took decent shots for its form factor, size, resolution and the conditions that it was in. Then throw in the fact that you are using it in water, sand, cold, snow, wind and any other sort of environment that is usually hostile to camera, the pictures are decent.
Summary: I thought this was a pretty good camera for the price. I gave it to my son to take on a canoe trip and he used it a lot during the year, took a lot of decent outdoor photos and videos. Even with heavy use by a teenager, consumer electronics should last longer, so I only give it three stars.
Summary: I paid $100 for this camera and I pretty much got what I expected: A solid camera with reasonable picture quality and good battery life. I've used this camera in three environments: while paddle boarding in the bay, while lounging in the water at Lake Havasu and while partaking in the Camp Pendleton Mud Run. So far, it's been great. During paddle boarding, the biggest risk it faces is me dropping it in the ocean (it doesn't float).
Summary: I got this as a gift from my husband and kids for my birthday. We took in on family vacation. Every day we took it in the pool and every day the screen developed dots and then became very foggy. Picture and video quality suffered. My sister in law has the same camera, that is why I chose this one. She loves it. Although listed as the same model # the blue and black camera looked different. The buttons were different too.
Summary: It's a decent camera for the money. The picture quality seems fine. There's a lag (a couple of seconds?) between when you push the button to take the photo and when it actually 'snaps' the photo, so trying to capture my 14 month old sometimes gets a little frustrating. She'll have her head turned or be on her way to something else when the camera actually gets the pic.
Summary: I am actually afraid to test it in water since my Olympus broke. I am leary of the water test. I am sure it works fine though. The picture quality is great as long as your subject is not moving at all. The video is aweseom though, even shooting in High Def.
