Summary: Took the brand new camera on our honeymoon, and about a week in, it completely shut off while I was using it for snorkeling photos. Recharged the battery, let it dry out for awhile, but could not turn the camera back on. Waiting to see if it can be replaced or refunded, but judging by other reviews, it doesn't look hopeful...
Summary: I have had nothing but problems with this camera. It gets stuck where you cannot take pictures, so I have to take the battery out and put it back, by then the picture is no longer worth taking. I need to return this horrible camera.
Summary: I hope I can save someone the mess that my husband and I had with this camera on our wedding/honeymoon in Jamaica. We took the camera snorkeling and five minutes into our swim the camera cut out and filled with water. No doors or compartments came open in the water, it just isn't water tight. Was never more than two feet under the water either. Don't waste your money.
Summary: I bought this camera for my first trip to sky in Vail, Co. What a bad decision was to get this camera!!! None of the pictures came out sharp. I m an amateur photographer and all my vacation pictures are praised by friends and family, I can not even show this ones. The videos look like a 1960's homemade videos, red and pale colors... what a joke is this camera. Once I returned this garbage , the sales person said that nobody like this camera, it really sucks!
Summary: I was given this camera as a gift at Christmas as I live near the beach where waterproofing is important. I read the instruction manual and made sure everything that was supposed to be shut was shut, after being submerged in only a few inches of water it stopped working. When I did open it later it was wet inside, judging by the other reviews I'm not even going to bother sending it away to get fixed.
Summary: The battery came buldging and would not fit in the camera nor charge...my daughter needed the camera for a class trip to the Florida Keys and arrived not working properly. This was the second time for this camera, since we returned the original because of spots on the lense. I would not recommend..constant problems.

Summary: I bought a FinePix xp10 in March. I tried it out in a swimming pool. It leaked. I sent it back for repair over 3 months ago. I have called their service department 7 times and got the same lie: "We have one in stock, not the same color, but will send it right out". I just tried again today 21 September and got the same lie. Don't buy a FujiFilm camera and expect to get any kind of fast and honest repair service. They will lie.
