Summary: I have been using this camera for over 4months and it has compelled me to write my first ever Amazon review. I am a very keen photographer and have purchased Fujis in the past (finepix models) as simple point and shoot cameras. But the T200 cant even get this right. Probably due to its 10x optical zoom it takes faaaaar too long to focus with all the elements shifting around. When it is finally focussed the image quality is really sub-par.
Summary: I bought this camera for my mum few months before from Amazon. The circumstances didn't permit my mum to visit me then and she visited me 2 weeks ago. I was delighted and gave her the camera as a present as it was her birthday 2 weeks ago. When it was opened only realised cheap external quality as nobs were bit wobbly and gave all the pictures a yellowish colour. nobody liked it from the beginning.
Summary: Never was completely impressed with this camera - took some decent shots when light was good, but low-light performance was at best so-so, often poor. But figured, for the price, it was portable and usable with a decent zoom in the right conditions. However, after 4 months, started to become unreliable until eventually would not turn on at all.
Summary: After using the Fuji S5000 for many years and loving the results I decided to upgrade to a newer and more compact camera and decided to stick with Fuji and purchase the T200 with 14mp and 10x optical zoom. First impressions were positive as I was very impressed with the size of the camera and the features it included. I was also very impressed by the HD video and audio recording capabilities from such a little device.
Summary: This review is based on my experience with indoor shots, not outdoor shots which will be really great. After reading a couple of reviews that said that the image quality and general specs of this camera were surprisingly good, and not wanting to spend over £100 I opted for one. When it arrived I charged it and took it to my mums to take some test shots.
