Summary: This camera is great for the price. The zoom makes it very versatile for any situation. Sure the sensor may be a bit on the small end, but the ability to get the long shots makes me choose it over my DSLR at times. I got some really neat pics of a lunar eclipse with this that are literally out of this world! I've attached some of the cooler pics I've snapped with it.
Summary: I didn't realize when I bought the camera it had such a small sensor, or I would of never bought it. Pretty much have to have it on a tripod for any picture seems like no matter the settings. I like my old camera better.
Pros: smallest sensor there is in this camera, low light, and fluorescent lighting
Cons: Great zoom! Good shots of the moon. Pretty good closeup, much better after I bought filters.
Excellent bridge camera with many features and great light gathering.

Summary: Bought refurbished camera, Fuji does not pack these units very well, very minimal on materials, a plastic bag that was worn through from all the movement during shipping and a piece of cardboard, no other materials, and no lense cap. Battery life is good, very clear robust images, took pictures at a wedding and could zoom in on wedding party when they drifted away for a quick rehearsal and capture pictures they were not aware anyone was taking.
Summary: This camera Rocks! Used it to take a picture of the moon that was about the size of a dime at arms length. I now use the pic as wallpaper at 1280x800! The zoom is unreal and has all the features of my 9600/9100 but this is way easier to use with full auto. Price on Amazon has gone up nearly $100 in the last month now the people have found about it. As good as similar Nikon or Cannon but priced less.
Summary: Everything is great but the tripod is pretty cheap. Really thin aluminum. Camera met our expectations except it didn't come with a USB cable to download the pics to our camera. It only had a HDMI cable.
While reviews on professions photo sites are good, and the price is very reasonable

Summary: Just a brief comment on this item, which I ended up returning. While reviews on professions photo sites are good, and the price is very reasonable, there were a few small things that turned me off. First, the lens cap does not sit very securely on the lens, and always felt as though it would pop off. A small thing, but enough to worry me. Second, the mechanism of the flash always had a tiny rattle when I moved the camera around.
Summary: I have only had this camera for 2 days. but so far I am loving it. great price. I am just an amateur who loves taking pictures. I live in an area with a lot of wildlife so the zoom was the selling point for me but I love the different effects you can do with this camera. having fun. I will update my review after a bit of time with it.
... her trip to Mexico this past spring and she loved this camera

Summary: This was a gift for my mother for her trip to Mexico this past spring and she loved this camera. She was at first intimidated by it due to its size but it was very easy to use and she took some great pictures. She is not a professional photographer but she stated how she was able to get some pictures with this camera other people were not able to. It performed much above her expectations.

Summary: As our first upgrade from tiny, point and shoot cameras, we are completely satisfied. It takes great pictures indoors and in outdoor daylight. It seems to handle motion pretty well and is easy enough to set up. I found some of the selection buttons on the camera body to be a bit fiddly, requiring multiple presses to select or accidentally pressing one because there are several, very close to each other but I blame that on fat fingers as much as the camera itself.
