Summary: This camera is fine when it works! But.....beware the control dial problem is well documented on the web and I would not buy again from Fuji. Check this out for yourself before parting with your money. Outside warranty Fuji will not help.
For higher picture quality, use the camera in your mobile phone

Summary: Images taken with the S9500 seem to be distinctly lacking in detail and sharpness, as well as exhibiting an inordinate amount of noise even at low ISO (<100). Some find that their S9500 does not exhibit these problems, so there may be quality control issues at play. However, if you do end up with a dud, expect to be given the runaround by Fuji support. There are much better bridge cameras out there in the same price range. Avoid this one!
Summary: I can't say how disappointed I am with this camera. I bought it as an upgrade to my Canon Powershot S2 IS, and I cannot believe how poor the quality of the pictures is. It is supposed to be a 9MP camera, but even when the pictures are reduced to 20%, the noise distortion is dreadful. The pictures are fuzzy, ill defined and grainy - even in good light. Don't even ask about the much-touted ISO 1600 setting.
Summary: Bought this camera from Dixons. Camera is fantastic. Nice weight good feel in the hand. All the right buttons in all the right places. Fast start up, good battery life, tilting LCD screen, and loads of nice little features like a PC flash socket and a lens cap holder on the strap. Picture quality unfortunatly is very poor with no contrast, no edge sharpness and no dynamic range. A lot of images with a blueish cast.
