Fuji Finepix S9000

neocamera.com
29 September 2011
  • Summary: Above all, the Fuji Finepix S9000 delivers images of outstanding quality. Indeed, no current September 2005 fixed-lens digital camera delivers such nice images. For that alone, the Fuji S9000 deserves some serious consideration. There are other things to like about the S9000 and, as no camera is perfect, some things to dislike. To find out  how  the Fuji S9000 measures up, check out neocamera's full-review of the Fuji S9000 , our most in-depth review ever.
  • Pros: Superior image quality, Very low noise up to ISO 1600, Mechanical wide angle 10.7X zoom lens, Electronic manual focus ring, Effective focus assist lamp, Super macro up to 1cm, Nice saturated colors, Great build quality, Powerful flash
  • Cons: No focus distance in manual focus, F4.9 Maximum aperture at telephoto, Poorly designed menu system, Slow focusing at telephoto, Slow switching to playback mode, Weird ergonomics (, Very occasional purple fringing

Fuji FinePix S9000

PC Magazine
26 December 2006
  • Conclusion: The Fuji FinePix S9000 is a good choice if you're looking for a superzoom that offers very good image quality and lots of useful features, but the smallish LCD and high price keep it from unseating our Editors' Choice.
  • Pros: Excellent manual zoom ring. Lighter and smaller than our Editors' Choice, the Panasonic DMC-FZ30. Very good picture quality.
  • Cons: Slow burst rate. Small LCD for today's market. Expensive. Some noise because of Real Photo Technology.

  • Conclusion: Fujifilm FinePix S9500 - Design The design of the Fujifilm FinePix S9500 is well thought-out. The buttons are in the exact right spot and carry a clear symbol. Most buttons feature a single function, which makes it well arranged and organised. It's fairly pleasant having to turn or press the button firmly. You don't just adjust a button on the Fujifilm S9500. Apart from one button; the switch for focussing, that adjust easily.

Fujifilm FinePix S9000

Photoxels
14 November 2005
  • Summary: The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 is one of the new generation of Fujifilm digital cameras with the 5th Generation SuperCCD HR image sensor with low-light capability. With 10.7x optical zoom and 9MP resolution, the Fujifilm S9000 provides very good to excellent image quality, though not approaching the exceptional low noise capability of the F10. Noise is low at ISO 80, 100, 200 and 400.

Fuji Finepix S9500

Cameras
8 August 2014
  • Conclusion: If you do not want the expense of a Digital SLR camera then the Fuji Finepix S9500 could be the answer you are looking for. It has a great set of features and takes good photos. I was especially impressed with its work indoors is less than perfect light. This is certainly a camera for someone who is serious about photography rather than someone with a passing interest.
  • Pros: Design and build quality, Features, Indoor photos, Zoom and focus rings
  • Cons: Outdoor images could be a shade sharper

  • Summary: If you don't want to fool with interchangeable lenses (or you prefer framing shots with an LCD panel), and you don't need the gee-whiz features found on other advanced models, the S9500 is a good compromise
  • Pros: SLR look, 9 megapixels, good focus pull, good performance.
  • Cons: No white balance bracketing, no focus bracketing, low speed continuous shooting,

Digital Camera Magazine
24 April 2006
  • Summary: Absolute image quality is not as good as you’ll get from an SLR, but the lens will cover many people for every shot they’ll take in a lifetime of photography. Lack of genuine shakecompensation is a disappointment but otherwise the FinePix S9500 Zoom is an extremely capable camera for the money. I am an amateur photographer and I bought one of these cameras about a year ago.

FinePix S9500 : Fuji FinePix S9500 zoom

GadgetSpeak
25 January 2006
  • Summary: I think of this as a semi professional digital camera however the price seems to put it in the amateur camp. Certainly making adjustments to zoom and focus on the lens stem is a big leap from point and shoot.
