Summary: I have had a Fuji FinePix S5000 since the mid 2000's, never really had anything even close to a pro camera due to cost. I am not a pro for sure but like to take pctures. Almost died when they took away my Kodachrome 35mm SLR cameras of the 60's, remember Pentax Ashia, etc. Even had a Sears 35mm SLR that worked great for me probably in the seventies ?
Summary: I have two now. There great cameras. To fix send to there factor. Thay do great job fixing . The prices is right. Only think i say is wrong . Is the DX cards there useing for camera are not making no more. Thay have to slots for cards. Other Compack flash work fine. You can plug in computer to down load. I might be selling one. Or give to one of my kids. I bought of HSN in 1995. It works great for me. I buy another!!!
Summary: I just received the camera and used it yesterday...great purchase! The only issue that I had was the batteries. I had a difficult time finding the batteries that were required to get the most out of this camera. I ended up buying a charger and hope that it will work out well for me!
Excerpt: In 9 months that I own the S7000 I've made about 10000 pictures of different style. I love this camera 'cause it's a very flexible robust companion. The more I work, the better I can use all features. Most of all, I use the M-Mode, because it offers shutter speeds down to 1/10000s. This is useful, while ISO Settings start only by 200 ISO. I'd preferred ISO50/80/100, but there were no firmware upgrades available to correct this.
Great camera for the dollar and gives very good results.

Summary: I bought the Fujifilm FinePix 6.3 MP camera to replace one I've had for several years. The old one was damaged by a leaking battery(s)and I tried very hard to repair it but could not. The way Fuji arranged the camera prisams actually doubled the MP quality and I've had great photo results using this camera. I (luckily) found the exact camera on eBay and was the sucessful bidder AND I'M GLAD!
A great value a classic camera for enthusiasts that want just a little more

Summary: This is a great camera for enthusiasts that want a little more than the standard digitals out there and yet aren't ready to invest in an expensive hobby. the quality of the photos is excellent, the ease of use is great, there is enough flexibility in use that you can do some really creative shots. it is an all around great camera. Also, incredible long lasting...we had ours almost 8 years!
A great camera that anyone can use on auto mode without any practice.

Summary: I bought this so I could have more MP to work with on shooting distant objects. Camera is great on recent trip to Northern AZ and Southern Utah I took over 600 Pictures and many of them were better than you see on calendars and in brochures promoting the area. It has a setting to shut off camera after so many min so you do not use up battery when not in use taking pics. Mine is set for 2 minutes. I fell and damaged it so I am purchasing another.
Summary: Although the camera can be a little daunting at first to the novice photographer the S7000 has never disappointed me with quality and reliability. And switching from still to video shooting is a breeze.
