Summary: Well I ordered a camera from this seller and when it arrived saying it was in good order and worked fine etc etc, I found that the battery compartment was corroded, so bad in fact that having put batteries in to test the camera, one was stuck in and took me over an hour to extract.
Summary: The camera took reasonable pictures but was spoilt by CCD failure, after very little use and expensive repair costs. In fact it is now cheaper to buy a new S700 than have the failed one repaired! The customer service representative was totally indifferent.
Summary: Since upgrading from the 3000z to the 7000z, I have been disappointed. The main problem is the focussing - the camera does not always focus where it is pointed. I am fully aware of the need for the camera to 'lock on' to the subject.
Great camera spoilt by CCD failure and expensive repair

Summary: I have been disappointed with the performance of this camera. The colours in the photos are only correct if photos are taken on a fine sunny day. While the photos are otherwise reasonable, they do not surpass the quality of a point and shoot camera, and are no match for a full SLR.
