Summary: this camera eats batteries like candy. this is not a good camera the media is an odd size and does not fit in the computer slot needs new batteries every few pictures and turns itself off when you are trying to use it.
Summary: Since upgrading from the 3000z to the 7000z, I have been disappointed. The main problem is the focussing - the camera does not always focus where it is pointed. I am fully aware of the need for the camera to 'lock on' to the subject. I have lost several shots because the subject of the photograph is blurred: due to the fact that the camera has decided (even though the focus is locked on target) to go for an area of high contrast usually behind the subject.
