Excerpt: My first experience with a digital camera with face detection that really works, the Finepix S6500fd. I’m not so glad with the xD memory card because it’s more expensive and slower than the SD card. The Fujifilm S6500fd image quality with low light is excellent, and the video quality is also good. The software is not very easy to use.
Summary: After much research it was evident that the Fuji S6000fd/S6500fd was by far the most superior camera within my budget, every review was glowing and in all honesty it did not disappoint. Classed as a mid range on the spectrum it is just above a compact and just below a DLSR, the perfect "bridge camera" (between the two).
Summary: I researched for a good bridge camera for two months after another point and shoot Fuji E550 made me very enthusiastic about photography as it offered compelete manual controls. Well this camera has been with me for 6 months now and there has not been a single time I have wished even to move to a proper SLR. What makes this unique from its league a few features one can only find in a proper SLR. 1.
